I think this product works great as a tinted chapstick. It goes on very smoothly and puts off a lot of color - so if you are going for that then it works great! Not long lasting because it’s so creamy. I purchased melon. It looks mauve in the photos but I found it to be a bit brighter on me. More like a bright pink. I would order again in a more neutral color and use as a chapstick.

I am very happy with this lip crayon. I wanted something that was safer for me and safer to wear around my baby.It goes on smooth and is large enough that it is a quick application but not too large that it is awkward. It is smooth and creamy and dries down a little so your lips feel smooth but not sticky or wet. I purchased the color fig and for me it is a perfect every day rose tan. Overall a healthier and safer way to make your lios feel good and look beautiful!

Initially I loved the lip crayon, I bought the shades “blossom” and “fig.” The colors were great and formula went on smoothly and was not drying. HOWEVER, the next morning I woke up with an awful rash of itchy bumps all over my lips causing them to swell. After the rash had disappeared I figured I’d give it another shot in hopes that it was an unrelated occurance, but it was NOT! The uncomfortable and unpleasant looking bumps returned and I decided that was it. I have sensitive skin and was dissapointed that a product geared towards those with sensitive skin actually creates a problem where there isn’t one.

I love these lip crayons!!! I have two colors - Marsala and Fig. Marsala is my favorite for an easy everyday nude. Fig has a bit more of a pink tint to it, but still definitely suitable for everyday wear.I used to wear a full face of makeup everyday but for the last year, I’ve been keeping it very light - just clear brow gel and mascara usually now. I’ve found that most lipsticks just don’t look right without foundation on my face - they’re either too matte or the pigment is just too much. It ends up looking unbalanced. And tinted balms don’t offer enough pigment. THIS product strikes the perfect balance!!! It feels silky on the lips, it’s not shiny but definitely not matte, and there’s plenty of pigment without being super solid. The crayon glides on evenly and smoothly, and the shape negates the need for a lipliner. It stays on really well, too. It wears off a bit when I eat so I usually reapply after a meal to keep it looking fresh, however it’s not totally necessary because it’s wears evenly so it doesn’t actually look bad.So if you prefer a more natural-ish but still polished look, this will deliver!

After months of debating whether or not to get this lip crayon, I finally bought it. I bought this in Fig, which is a nice deep color that seems to be flattering in most skin tones. My lips are naturally a pinkish brown color, so I have a difficult time finding lip colors that show up enough when I don't want to wear a highly pigmented lipstick. This lip crayon does the trick, I get enough pay off without the full on lipstick experience or feeling. I haven't worn this a full day yet, so I cannot speak on any longevity with wear. However, it goes on smoothly and feels moisturizing, not at all tacky or sticky.I'll update with a photo for reference when I take one.

I really wanted to like this, but sadly it fell short. I found it to “feel” moisturizing in a tactile sense, but it actually seemed to dry out my lips. I have been using it off and on for a couple weeks now, and every time I end up having to layer a balm over it to soften my lips. Which of course thins out the color and you lose definition. Also, mine sadly came with the lipstick itself stuck to the lid, which I had to carefully extract and place back in the tube.I will say, the shade deserves 5 stars. I am a very pale redhead with pink undertones, the “marsala” color was like a deep nude that was very flattering. It could easily work as a slightly bolder day look, or a more subtle evening look. I just wish it was more moisturizing!

My favorite "lip butter" was discontinued so I was looking for another. I purchase 2 colors. Neither of them was remotely like the pictures. The "honey" color went on practically white, making me look pretty much dead. That would be great for Halloween but that's not what I was going for. The "melon" went on like a "coral" or "orange-pink," nothing at all like the light pink-to-white color one thinks of when thinking of a watermelon. Maybe this was supposed to be "cantaloupe" but this would be too orange even for that. Because these are used and go on your lips, I didn't even try returning them. Also, they feel kinda gritty on my lips, and actually feel more like they are drying, rather than moisturizing, my lips. Maybe I got a bum batch, but I couldn't be more disappointed and I won't try again. They are going in the trash.

OK this product, and the adjacent sheer lip crayon, are my *holy grail* of lip color. First: the colors: they're a "looks like your natural lips only deeper and better" kind of color, a natural-looking accent that pulls the face together but doesn't look like you're trying too hard – easy to wear, all-day color.(I have pale skin/medium dark hair and I have tried Fig, Mulberry, and Marsala and they all have this look on my lips).Texture: the matte is, well matte, but not super dry, and the sheer is a little more dewy, and I love the feeling of these lightweight crayons on my lips.Staying power: I can wipe my mouth after I start to eat a meal and color still comes off, so that's pretty great longevity for a natural clean product.I could not love these lip crayons more! The fact that they are clean make up is just amazing. I've now purchased at least five colors, and I have my fingers crossed they never discontinue them.
