A card game for people who are into kittens and explosions and laser beams and sometimes goats. This box, unlike most other versions, actually MEOWS! It is a highly-strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette. Players draw cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode, they are dead, and they are out of the game — unless that player has a Defuse card, which can defuse the kitten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the Exploding Kittens.

My 12 year old talked me into ordering Exploding Kittens. It was a fun game once we understood how to play it! The more people the more fun the game is.

Fun game, but a little complicated for younger kids.
Despite the rating, its probably best for teenagers. My 8 year old loves the funny pictures, but the game is a bit too confusing sometimes, and the variety of cards that do the same things are too much.On the other hand, I love it! Would have been a great game when I was younger, or as a drinking game!

Must be fake - box sound doesn't function properly
I bought this item because I wanted the "meowing" sound effect when you open the box. It "meows" the first time and then it keeps on going like it's performing a rap.

We are really enjoying this game, it goes up a notch once you add the streaking kitten expansion.
