Q: Does mold build up in the fibers?

NO, i have used mine daily for 2 years and zero mold and i live in florida where we get mold on Everything in 5 minutes, haha. Sometimes i do hang it up on a hook i attached to a towel bar in my shower stall, (i cut a hole, and ran a matching color hair tie through hole to hang this up) but more often, i leave it on floor of tub and i have had zero mold issues at all.

Q: Does the mat come any larger?

No, it doesn't, I had to buy two for the bottom of my shower.

Q: Could the seller please confirm whether the backing is made of actual rubber, as my tub refinisher said that rubber must not touch the tub?
