I would like to see a batter holder designed like the charger ...
I switch the batteries out frequently and the terminals catch the end of the battery and peel away the wrapper. The terminals may have to be bent outward to provide enough force to keep the battery in place. Batteries are difficult to remove if this is done which prompted me to wrap a ribbon around one end of the batteries to help with removal. Just to emphasize, part of the difficulty in removing the battery (even with the ribbon wrapped around it) is the contacts “hooking” into the end of the wrapper for the battery. I tried to avoid the “hooking” by wrapping the ribbon around the negative end of the battery, pushing the battery towards the positive end to create a gap between the negative end and terminal, then pulling up to remove the battery. Of course the terminals at the positive end get compressed which means I have to bend them back out and the cycle continues. The charger for these batteries has a sliding spring loaded terminal for the negative end. I would like to see a batter holder designed like the charger with some sort of spring mechanism. The battery can slide into a slot to be held in place by a spring loaded terminal, yet be easily removed without the holder damaging the battery. So this holder is OK but needs some work.

Compact - Very good for narrow spaces
This is a very good battery holder when space is limited. I used mine to do an 18650 battery mod for the SkyController 2 (Parrot Bebop 2 drone) and it fit perfectly after a small modification (filing away the legs). This is a great compact design -- the holes at the bottom of the holder allow it to take less height and also makes it convenient to pop the batteries out.

Fortunately I have a normal length pair of protected cells ...
It doesn't fit the extra length protected 18650 cells but it handled them when forced into the holder. Fortunately I have a normal length pair of protected cells but this didn't break from the strain of the first pair, and this seems to be a much better choice than the ones with tiny wires coming off them. I wish it had a top to hold batteries in, but the regular sized cells haven't fallen out either.

It worked great, but I really wish that they would either ...
Used this for a dual 18650 unregulated series box mod. It worked great, but I really wish that they would either use different clips or bend them as they like to grab hold of the battery wraps and tear them to shreds unless you carefully pull the batteries out as straight as possible.

Gold plated contacts and thick plastic. Holds the battery ...
Gold plated contacts and thick plastic. Holds the battery firmly without tearing the shrink wrap off the edge of the battery ever time you remove it. Only negative: Small plastic bumps on the bottom prevent it from sitting flat on the table. I just sanded them off, so not really a huge deal.

Nice and solid build
Nice and solid build, but it has plastic tabs on the back of it that might make it stick out of the box. Good connections and they hold the batteries snug but not so snug to mess up the coating on the batteries.

Works great
Just what I was looking for

perfect
I have physically made up 3/4"square with these little guys😃 and in a 1590g that's alot for some of the nutso stuff I cram in them..dont need a printed sled"..a strong well designed unit and I can solder a variety of materials without fear 😱 of fatigue or failure..rugged and can dress them up after modifications..love them..best I've found and have modeled homemade sleds after them for custom wood box buids"...satisfied.
