Slow down to 55 MPH and allow the engine and transmission to cool for 2-3 minutes
I wasn’t believer. I had P0420 on Elantra 2005 for a year. I changed everything but CAD. I was desperate because emission inspection was coming. The last thigh what I did was to use this magic syrup. As one said “Unicorns and rainbows gracefully flew out the tailpipe” and I passed inspection. Here I just copy and paste what really helped me from others reviews. “On an open highway, preferably uphill, push your gas pedal to max from 50 MPH to about 80 MPH. Slow down to 55 MPH and allow the engine and transmission to cool for 2-3 minutes. Repeat 30 times. You will increase your exhaust temperature from about 600 degrees F to 1200, which blasts away soot from the catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, O2 sensors, etc.” I drove 70 miles. I had KONNWEI X005 KW808 OBDII/EOBD Code Reader and Auto Scanner OBD2 and before I start driving on highway I erase the code and all data from car computer. Periodically when I stopped I checked readiness status for emissions. After highway I still had 4 protocols incomplete. I went to town and drove normally around 20 minutes stopping everywhere on traffic signs and checking auto Scanner. When one protocol was left INC(Incomplete) I approached emission inspection station. By that time protocol competed and I past. Don’t go for inspection if you hale engine light on and protocols incomplete.

I passed NJ Emissions and my fuel economy increased. Another two years of driving the 2000 Toyota Avalon XLS, 190,000 miles!
The product worked for me (Good Product). I passed NJ emissions test. What no one understands, if the catalytic converter is cover in soot from engine misfiring / malfunctions (which is what I had P0300, P0301, P0303, P0305 and P1349 (all bank 1). After clearing these codes, I got a pending P0420 code (Bank 1)), this product will work by clearing / cleaning the honey cone inside the catalytic converter of the soot. If the catalytic converter is burnt, the honey cone is deteriorated, no fuel additive product will make the catalytic converter work again. The catalytic converter needs to be replaced or the down stream O2 sensor could be modified to pass emissions (not advocating doing the modification. Illegal in some states). My fuel economy did improve though. It is a proprietary blend of distillates (It might be similar to the dollar store but better). The first thing your mechanic will tell you upon seeing the P0420 code, the catalytic converter needs to be replaced and that may not be true. It's worth the money to try, better than initially replacing the catalytic converter at $600 to $1000 on an old car. The product is Hi-Gear catalytic converter and fuel system cleaner, nothing about passing emissions.

Cleared my check engine light error code P0304 but not the P0430! So it's worth a shot
I was definitely a skeptic about these cleaner fluids but this made me a believer. My car is an altima 2002 with over 130,000 miles on it and I had a few check engine codes lighting up and one of them being P0304, as well as one for emissions leak code, P0430 catalytic converter below efficiency, and the rotten egg smell.I followed the instructions and poured a full can into a quarter tank of gas then filled up. Then I started my car and immediately my check engine light cleared itself! I've driven over 100 miles so far afterwards and still the check engine light has not returned. This product proved my doubts to be wrong. I highly recommend.UPDATE 8/2017:The P0430 error came back a few weeks later, but the P0304 did not. So I believe perhaps there may be more to my issues than this product can help with. I lowered the stars since I can't 100% confirm that it is a sure fix, but it did seem to have an effect albeit an indefinite one. So my conclusion is that it is worth a try.

Had a P0430 code for the cat efficiency and of ...
Had a P0430 code for the cat efficiency and of course the state inspection was coming due, bought 2 cans of this and ran through with two tanks of premium gas and the CE light went out. The CE light came back on after a week so I used another can with premium gas and the light has is off again and passsd state inspection emissions test no problem. Will use this in all my cars to keep the cats clean from now on.

Really worked!
My 98 F150 with 335,000 miles was throwing OBD codes for my left and right catalitic converters operating inefficiently. One can of this product fixed this. Really worked well. Recommend.

This works.
I was surprised it worked so fast and in a day or two my Audi Q7 was able to pass inspection, the light eventually came back on about a month or two later but this product works. I was also wierded out by their instructions since they differ from similar products and seem to require dilution immediately after pouring it in a quarter tank, but it worked somehow!

It does the job as advertised
this stuff works. added it to the gas tank, then filled it with 18 gallons, went 120 miles then the engine light went off, and never came back on.

THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS!
I have a Cadillac Escalade EXT with over 206,000 miles on it and I kept getting efficiency code below acceptable threshold code. I got an estimate to replace both catalytic converters and it was outrageous...around $2,000 plus labor. There was no way I was paying for that so I tried a few fuel system cleaners to see if that would work. I tried everything but the code kept coming up. So I ordered a can of Hi-Gear cat cleaner and poured it in at my gas tank then filled up.As I was driving home the check engine light turned off and stayed off for about 3 months. After that the light came back on so I added another can every 3 months and the code hasn't came on again. I am very satisfied with the results I got....better fuel economy, faster acceleration and a smoother running truck.

Car ran a little better
Hoping that the check engine light for the CAT would stay off. Car ran some better but when hot and going slow in town the light would come back on - on a 84k buick with a 3.

Snake oil
Save your money towards fixing the real problem. This is snake oil at it's best. Did do anything at all.

Not sure it works
I really followed the directions trying to get rid of my engine p0420 code but didn't work for me. Maybe others have had better luck than me. Maybe I will try this product again.

Fixes codes and fuel efficiency
Fixed catalytic converter issues and codes. Read the bottle, do it right and do it routinely. Cheaper than auto parts cataclean and works the same

I was hoping it would clean the bottom catalytic converter on my 2006 Subaru Forester. Almost no effect, and the catalytic stayed clogged, so I had to replace it.
