As a practicing cardiologist, i find this as a best book so far I have read scoring the neglected, yet most important , topic of childhood trauma it's affects on adult and disease patterns

Great ! Everyone who struggles with dysfunctional present due to over-giving nature and inability to say 'No' should explore why they are like that. If you do not go into your past, you cannot repair your present , it will invariably cause you future problems.

As the title suggestsAlice miller has a sensitive mothers voice in her writing and this book is pivitol to understand parenting and abuse.The publisher has decided a unfair price and quality of book/papers. I don't think seller is responsible for it. Customer should know about it.

The text inside the book is not in the center and it looks horrible aesthetically. One spends more than a thousand bucks in today's world when we can easily buy digital versions but reason that I bought this book was its physical presence with properly printed content inside. Its a disappointment that such products get sold to the customers without going through a quality check.

Loved this book. Had quite a profound impact on me. A must read for everyone, especially any parent.

While it shakes u up on Howie could have done as parents it also brings out the insecurities of the child in you!!
