I usually go by the reviews. i should have known when there were none. I followed the instructions to the letter. very small print hard to read but i downloaded the app i needed and Alexa would not find it. couldn't get it to work at all. Spent 3 hours working with it and repeating step by step and it sill didn't work. the skill wouldn't enable and it wanted a verification code. which i got then it wanted an authorization code that i couldn't find didn't send it when i set it up so i was dead in the water. Save your money and get one that has reviews and questions and answers are favorable. the plugs are NOT independent ones. Whatever you plug into them will either both be on or both off.

I purchased 2 of these outlets and they were working nicely until I woke up to a crackling noise coming from it. Upon removing the outlet from the wall it had burned a hole in the back of the outlet and burned the front of the faceplate on my wall had I not caught it my house could have very easily caught fire I had to have an electrician come and upon contacting Amazon I was told they were only going to refund me for only 1 out of the 2 I purchased and that they were not liable for the problem and that they would help with any of the extra expenses that were caused by this product as a WARNING I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT BUYING THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

I am able to download the skill to Alexa but Alexa is not finding the device so it is not connecting.

I'm using this plug to turn on a lamp. I bought it on a whim, I really don't need it, but the convenience and cool gadget factor got my curiosity. I'm glad I bought it, I will be buying more. I love the app, and its scheduling features. For me it's a great little device that can make my lamp a smart lamp.

Wonderful product, no tools required for installation. Just plug and play.

Space saving, reliable, easy to set up. What more could you want out of a smart plug? I program it with the calendar timer to turn on and off my over-cabinet kitchen lighting.
