Works very good for me
Been using the clip about once a week for 6 months and it still fits me well (I have a larger nose) doesn't come off and is reasonable comfortable.

tighter than the Cressi
I've had both the speedo and the cressi nose plugs before and I don't recall how they compare in terms of their longevity. They both get sticky overtime, but when kept dry and in their cases, do well. The plastic of the Cressi is softer and lasts longer. Maybe that's a good reason to buy them. The Speedo plugs are tighter. Maybe that's a reason. Regardless, this design, in my opinion is much superior to the all plastic plugs. Those just slip right off my nose.

Never worn one and this one worked without bother.
Who is going to put up a picture wearing a nose plug? Not me. Anyway I started using a center snorkel for lap swimming and could not work out how to regulated my mouth breathing without also snorting a bit of water so I got this. The metal tension band feels very strong for its thickness and with a bit of moving it around on my nose I was able to get it to stay put and block the water. Just goofing around I tried to breath via my nose while wearing it and yes, you can get some air in and out but you have to make an effort. So yes, if you try and snort water you probably could. If you are just passive mouth breathing (like swimming) it worked just fine for me and it, in combination with the center snorkel, makes lap swimming a lot less taxing on your neck.

100% dependable
Ordinarily, as with the earplugs and swim goggles, ordinarily I buy these at a swim shop or at the pool if they’re not available, then I’m stuck but I needed some new ones and these are the kind that I like to get the other ones come with the goggles aren’t so good, but these are really good. They stay put even when diving in.

Didn't work very well for me as another one did
This is one of the 5 different nose clips I purchased in an attempt to locate one that fits. 1 out of the 5 work very well and another one works but has to be readjusted after a couple of laps. I think nose clips would fit everyone differently specially based on sex and race. I'm a female Caucasian with a small to average size nose. Also I read these reviews when I purchase something so I try to leave feedback when I can. This is only my opinion of the nose clips I tried. You might hate the ones I like and visa versa.I purchased1. Speedo Silicone Nose Clip2. * Speedo Competition Nose Clip *3. Tyr Soft Pad Swim Clip4. TYR Ergo Swim Clip5. Water Gear Synchro Nose Clip 1. Speedo Silicone Nose ClipThis one was the winner! I really like it. This was by far the best clip out of the 5 I tried. It stayed on my nose and kept it closed no matter how many laps I did. It was comfortable to the point that I didn't even notice it while swimming. No need to adjust it because it stayed in place. I see Amazon only sells it in packages of 10. I purchased it from [...]. Comes with a nice case.2. * Speedo Competition Nose Clip *This one sort of worked but not well enough that I didn't want to try others. It was probably the second best one but still I had to adjust it after a lap. I think if you had a larger nose it would work. You can adjust it a little but it really has to do with the rubber not really holding in place on the nose so adjusting it didn't help much. Since it didn't fit it wasn't very comfortable and very noticeable. I keep this in my bag just in case something happens to the Speedo Silicone Nose Clip.3. Tyr Soft Pad Swim ClipThis one didn't work because it didn't clip tight enough for my nose and there was no way to adjust the fit. I think it would work very well if you have a larger nose because the rubber material grips the nose well. It grips much better than the rubber on the Speedo Competition nose clip. It was the only clip out of the group that floated. It comes with a case. Tyr Soft Pad Swim Clip 4. TYR Ergo Swim ClipI really like this one when I first tried it but when I tried it at the pool as soon as it got wet the rubber wouldn't hold. It slipped completely off my nose as soon as I started to swim. If you're looking for a nose clip that you don't need to get wet this one held my nose close, stays on the nose, and is comfortable as long as I didn't get it wet. It comes with a nice case. There's no way to adjust the clip but its set tight so there's no need for me to adjust it. TYR Ergo Swim Clip 5. Water Gear Synchro Nose ClipThis one was the cheapest but it was also far inferior in terms of the quality of the materials used. The wire is thinner than the wire used by Speedo and doesn't hold its shape. I don't think this would work for anyone. Also didn't come with a case. Water Gear Synchro Nose Clip

Tal como lo ordené!
El clip nasal es tal cual aparece en la foto, aunque la verdad cumple su función al 100%, no entra nada de agua al nadar.

Doesn’t work
I bought these because of the size & texture of the pad with high reviews for comfort. Unfortunately, what makes them so comfortable is their downfall by not providing seal. They are very comfortable but the pad is so smooth it easily slips around & loosing seal, even after washing oils, etc off nose before use. The ones I’ve been using provide water good seal but are so tight and slip proof as to become very uncomfortable after 30 minutes.

Adjustable, comfortable, durable...Does what it's supposed to do!
Adjustable, comfortable, durable... I used to be a competitive swimmer, and this has always been my go-to nose clip. So long as you don't loose it, you can have this nose clip for years and years. Would love if it was a couple of dollars cheaper, but that is my only complaint.

"This one" works well.
This one does work very well ( at least for me). I had a different style nose-plug for swimming, also by Speedo and "that one" did not work well. Also, this one, was overly tight when I started using it, but you can gently bend it open more to adjust it, which I have done and it's much better now. Now it doesn't leak "or" hurt. I would advise caution though if bending it wider open, because if you do it too much and have to bend it back closed, I think it's possible it could lose it's strength to close inward, but I'm not going to try it to find out for sure, so I could be wrong, but it's a good fit now.
