Best thing I've bought after moving into a cheap apartment complex!!
This thing saved my sanity! I was about to go 'office space' on our electronic dryer in the apartment we recently moved into. Maintenance guys were totally no help, just checked the connection to the wall and said everything was fine but it was still taking me FIVE cycles to dry even the smallest load of laundry ( 2 bath towels JUST TWO ) I was starting to contemplate either line drying on the on our balcony or taking everything to the laundromat just to save on our electric bill. I thought theres gotta be something going on, so I looked down into the lint trap and realized it was TOTALLY clogged with lint. I bought this little wonder, and after using quickly realized, that there was SAND?! down there with the lint creating the most ridiculous dust bunny (maybe more of a dust tortoise because it was rather hard) in the vent going under and through the dryer to the outside vent. After much stubbornness and maybe about 30 mins of chipping away at it I was able to clear most of it away, and now usually can get everything dry on the FIRST attempt. I still check and make sure it doesn't need a second cycle, every once and awhile it still does but mostly because I'm more ambitious with my loads after cleaning it out.A few pro tips!1. The hose is very bendy, not a bad trait because it will get into tight areas but it makes it hard to be precise if you have a monster clog like I did. If you're working with just loose lint and not sand/pet hair/god knows what else, it should work just fine. For more substantial/solid/stubborn clogs I would macgyver a stiffer "guide". Some people mentioned using a wire hanger or something similar. I didn't have one at the time so I used bamboo chopsticks I had leftover from panda express. Honestly I felt like this was the way to go. I used packaging tape to completely tape the first chopstick to the end giving it about 7 inches of stiffness, and then taped about 3 inches of the second chopstick to that part giving me a handle with which to maneuver the end. (See Pics) You just have to make sure that tape is nice and tight, I'm sure duct tape would work too but it's nice to use the clear to see if there's anything stuck in the tube. There were parts of the clog I needed to chip away with a butter knife, that really had nothing to do with the efficiency of this tool and everything to do with the effed up tenants before me putting flipping kitty litter or beach sand or whatever in the dryer. (Like how and why?! I will never understand) Anyways rigging it up this way worked great, I was able to pick up all the loose lint with ease. Even with the bigger chunks that wouldn't fit down the hose, the suction was good enough that I was able to grab them out piece by piece.2. The hose connector for this was surprisingly well made in my opinion the only slight 'set back' had to do with the connection on my vacuum. It has an outer clip instead of it just being a round hose. Not a deal breaker, still worked great even tho it didn't fit completely flush. (See pics) Still worked great though! If you have an odd/more complicated/non-standard hose however I could see this not have the best suction so something to consider before purchasing.3. I would clean the hose connector after use, just to extend the life of this. I noticed just a bit of the finer dust clung to parts of the seal where it connects to the vacuum hose, so I gave it a quick wipe down after I was done. It's a great idea to clean your dryer vents at least once a year anyways, to prevent dryer fires. (Which is why Im SOOO glad I did this) So I plan to keep this handy and in good working order for the next time I need it. I also left the chopsticks on for the next time as well.Anyways I hope this helps some other poor soul out there! Included pics of the chopstick rid and junk I got out (penny for scale). I was able to take it to my landlord to prove that the maintenance guys are lazy, and was able to get some credit on my rent for next month 😁

Superstar cleaning tool!
I love the Lint Lizard! I’d wanted one for awhile and am in Spring Cleaning Mode so I bought this (and a few other gadgets) to further furnish my cleaning tool kit. Boy am I glad I did. Our clothes dryer lint filter has a thick layer of lint after each load, so I cringed to think of what was going into the machine and I want it to run safely/efficiently. There are also other areas of my house that I can’t get to with regular cleaning, such as under the fridge, behind the washer/dryer, vents, etc. Upon delivery, I unpacked and assembled the Lint Lizard - it was very easy and fits my Shark Navigator just fine. I kept the box for storage while the LL is not in use. I attacked the dryer first and wow - yes, it quickly pulled out QUITE a bit of lint. Very pleased with that, and will use it monthly to maintain a clean, safe dryer. Then, I went all behind the washer and dryer, all along the baseboards and under the machines. I will say this: because the tube is very long and flexible, it became a bit hard to direct it, so I remedied that by rigging up a small dowel rod taped to the hose. That made it much easier to guide along the floor, and above my head to the ceiling vents. By the time I even got to my fridge, this thing had paid for itself in terms of doing its job and doing it very well. Under the fridge - the amount of lint, dust bunnies and other detritus was astounding (and I love to clean - think Monica on Friends, that’s me) so I was happy to now have a way to really thoroughly clean difficult areas. (In fact, I texted pictures of the piles of lint to my boyfriend at work, who then properly teased me for having this much fun with a cleaning gadget on a Saturday night) I live in the desert, so I battle dust and lint on a daily basis. This tool is now a key part of my cleaning kit and I’m so glad I finally bought it! I highly recommend it. You won’t be sorry.

Dryer runs much quieter after cleaning with this
I got this to help get into the dryer for the lint that doesn't get caught by the lint filter. The first time I used it, I snaked the tube into the dryer and it began pulling out all sorts of loose material. And then something got stuck, so I pulled out the tube to find a huge piece of lint that had compacted so hard it was like a piece of weatherstripping. It was at least ten inches long and had apparently been clogging the dryer for some time. I had to crumble it up to make it fit through the tube (okay, I could have just as easily pulled it off and tossed it in the trash). The dryer ran much quieter after that and we may have fixed an overheating problem we've been having. I still need to pull the outer vent off the back of the dryer and clean that, but for getting into the dryer itself this tube assembly worked as advertised. I think it's a bit flimsy, but I don't expect to abuse it so it should last. Could you tape tubing to your vacuum? Probably, but that's a sticky mess and you're always putting it on and taking it off. This is designed to be easily put on and off a vacuum and it works just fine.

Broke quickly; required some duct tape
This works _alright_ for cleaning out my dryer's lint trap area, but the hose itself broke, and I was forced to tape it back together.

Surprisingly effective
I used this with my very powerful Festool CT36 vacuum. It works a treat for cleaning out our LG dryer. It was surprising how much lint was in the lint trap area and it sucked out quite a bit. Fires from dryer lint are very common and preventable. This can help in that regard so it is a safety product for sure.

Works ok.
The suction power is lost with the use this attachment even though my vacuum motor is extremely strong. The flexible hose is hard to aim in all areas off my dryer lint catching zone. Does an ok job.

Work but it took a long time
It works to a point... it took me a long time to remove the lints and dust, because the hose is too soft and it doesn't go where I needed it to.
