Compact, powerful 18 Ah unit.
Haven't needed to use this portable jump starter for a real emergency yet... but I tested the emergency battery jump starter on my 8 cyl, 5.9 L gasoline truck by temporarily installing a known bad (discharged) battery. After confirming that the bad battery wouldn't even turn over the truck engine, I set up the jump starter, and after pressing the little reset button on the connector itself (which then changed the color of the LED), the truck started right up on my first attempt! No idea how long the batteries in this unit will keep their charge (instructions say to charge every three months to protect battery life), nor how low the unit's charge might be and still start a vehicle (mine still says 100% after starting the truck), but the overall compactness and the included case, charge and USB adapters and the battery jumper cables all seem to be of better than average quality.I figure that -at worst- this unit may quickly help me by charging and powering my phone in order to call for more help!Ended up buying five units as Christmas gifts for each of the family cars. PS: The only photo I uploaded was of the dim headlight when I was making sure the truck's battery was "too dead to start the engine".

A must have.
This jump starter is awesome. The look and feel are fantastic. It works amazingly well and the 18000mAh really makes a difference. Unlike other devices, this one has a screen that shows you your battery percentage -super helpful. I charged it over night and at 100% I used it to jump a 94 Honda Accord which hadn’t been started in 6+ month. It started right up and only consumed 3% of the battery. I checked the percentage after sitting in its case for a week after the jump start and it’s still at 97%. I liked this so much, I got one for my mom and it’s saved her twice already!

Perfect! We like everything about it!
I purchased this as a birthday gift for my husband and he was thrilled. The packaging is beautiful and it comes with a nifty hard-shell carrying/storage case and all the cables you could need. It fits nicely under the front seat of his car. We haven't used it to jump a battery yet, but we did use it to charge our tablets and it charged them much faster than a wall outlet. It didn't take long to bring it to full power = less than 2 hours by far. I am sure it will come in handy as we have a sticking brake pedal that, if we're not careful, keeps the brake lights on and drains the battery. I had a question about it and the customer service was great and very responsive. I'm sure that the company will understand if I say I hope we never have to use it, but it sure gives us peace of mind.

They Don't Want You To Use The Warranty
They make it very difficult to use their warranty. I bought this in September 2018, less than a year ago. In that time I have used it maybe 8 times with really no problems. I had fully charged it 2 days ago. This morning I realized that I left my cars interior lights on so the battery was dead. I hooked up the Beatit and the voltage went from 100% to 86%. When I went to start my car, it cranked twice and nothing. When I went to check the Beatit, it said 1%. I charged the Beatit again and tried to start my car. Same thing with the Beatit voltage again. Cranked a couple times and then 1% again. I finally called my friend with a similiar portable battery jumper and his started my car with no problem and the voltage on his charger was at 30 something %. I contacted Beatit through their Facebook page. First they told me to try another car but how am I going to find another car with dead battery? Then they said my battery was bad. I told them that this battery is less than 6 months old and this is the first time I had left my interior light on. After I told them that, they wanted me to make a video of the problem. 1.where am I going to find another car to try it on and they want me to make a video? 2. This battery is less than a year old. Do they think I want to waste my time trying to scam them out of a new battery. Who wants to go through all this trouble to use their warranty if the Beatit is still working? Do they think I just woke up this morning and say, okay I want to replace the Beatit that's working with another one? That's probably the reason that the Beatit only has a couple hundred reviews while the other one on Amazon has a couple thousand. I told them that I don't have time to try another car and video it and have received no response since. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I would highly recommend having one in every vehicle
very compact, very sturdy. The case that the starter goes into is excellent, it has just enough room and it has little recesses around the buttons and switches that makes sure that they won't get accidentally pushed or activated. It has a mesh pouch in the lid that holds all the cords, including the alligator clips to put onto your battery (the car battery terminal clips), the USB cord for charging the unit from a USB source, and a wall charger. There is a window on the unit that tells you what percentage you have left on the battery. There are two USB ports that have different amperages. It has a port to plug in the charger to charge the unit itself. There is an on/off switch, so it isn't always on and draining the battery. There is a flashlight on the end, which would be very handy when you have a dead battery at night. We've used this to boost a completely dead battery in our van. When we turned the key, there was no response at all. We were at 44% on this unit and ended at 33% once we started the vehicle. There is an attachment that plugs into the unit itself, and that has a light and a button next to it. The light blinks green and red when you plug it in. You have to push the button and hold it until turns solid green -- that is when it is ready to boost/start.I used it to charge my cell phone, and that took it from 100% to 97%, and that was over about an hour on my drive. That is nice in some of the vehicles that don't necessarily have a lot of cigarette lighter ports available.I used it to charge an iPad Mini (that was the first use we made of it actually) when we had a power outage. That is another very nice use of this.

Every lady should have it in case of emergency.
I just received the product today. I am impressed when I opened the package. It looks modern and stylish; perfect size for my car. The flash works great. I will charge it now. I hope when I need to use it. It will work great as it looks right now.
