Skirt Sports Womens' Hover Skirt

This was my first time trying a running skirt. I bought the large size. I chose the brand with the most positive reviews. This hover skirt is very comfortable, the built-in spandex-like shorts eliminate thigh chafing and the built-in pockets on the shorts are great for holding 1 or 2 house keys. I am 5'7", size 10-12 in pants, and the large skirt hem is about 7-8" above my knee, which is not too short, in my opinion, for running, although a tad shorter than what I'd wear in public to places like the mall or grocery store. I recently discovered, though, that my running fanny-pack/belt that I use to carry Gu gels and/or my cell phone, when latched around my hips causes the skirt to bunch up and to not hang straight anymore like it does when I'm not wearing my running belt. I had to constantly stop to jerk the skirt fabric down, so I just won't run with my belt when I wear this running skirt. Also, the size large fits well now, but I may buy a size medium in case I lose weight because I can already tell it will be slightly loose if I go down to a solid size 8.

I love my Hover! It's a great skirt for running. I love all of the pockets and the light weight material. It dries quick if you want to use it for SUP or other water sports. The grippers hold he shorties in place and draw strings waist is fully adjustable and won't slip on long runs, or runs with a pack.

Love this skirt. Shorts stay in place thanks to grips on legs and are fabulously lightweight and airy. Skirt is adorable on many body types. Pockets are amazing! Runs a bit big. I got a small and in other sportswear brands I wear a med. Do yourself a solid and just buy this skirt. It is fantastic!

Love this skirt. It fits comfortable and never ever rides up or causes any chaffing issues. I own three pair of this skirt. I like to wear this skirt when it is warmer. It helps keep you cooler on those longer workouts. The pockets can hold a cell phone easily and it doesn’t weigh the skirt down. You can’t go wrong with this skirt.

Very lightweight and cute, but runs a little big. Because of light weight fabric, the pockets really don't work all that well for phone, etc.

Very lightweight and cool for running, the waistband is wide and comfortable. For reference, I'm 5'6 1/2", a muscular 130 lbs and the small fits great. The shorts are snug but not tight. There are 2 thigh pockets big enough for my older Samsung S series phone. The Hover is my go-to skirt for long warm runs and races.

THis skirt is super lightweight, with pockets on each leg, which are very functional on hot days and to carry things along. I find it runs a little large, so I would recommend sizing down. But I love it all the same. Skirt SPorts puts out great functional and cute product.

I own three of the hover skirts, and it's my go-to athletic skirt for all sorts of activities. The length is just right for running, and was super comfortable during my most recent half marathon. The pockets in the shorts are perfect for nutrition, music, or even to carry a cell phone securely. I also wear my hover for SUP (again loving the pockets) and the material is quick dry and light for water sports. Now I think I need to buy another pattern to add to my collection!

I do like the material on this skirt. Very lightweight and cool. That’s about all! The waist band will not lay down flat. It keeps raising up.

This is s great hot weather skirt. The material is lightweight and the shorts do not chafe! It fits a little bigger than other Skirt Sports skirts.

This is my absolute favorite skirt! It is perfect for everything. I've worn it climbing 14ers, running marathons, hiking with my family, and just hanging out.
