PartsCollection Cooler Master AMD K8 Socket 939 / 940 / 1207 Heatsink Fan Mounting Bracket Retention & Backplate Kits

I purchased this as my factory bracket broke on my socket 939 base. When I received it, I screwed it in place, tightened it up and as I went in to strap the heat sink in ... snap! One of the ears on the bracket broke. I take it out and inspect it. Wobby plastic, made very cheaply. Unlike my original which was thicker plastic. I'm contemplating on just getting a new heatsink kit. The metal base plate was stamped cooler master but suspiciously the plastic one wasnt. Did not come in cooler master packaging.

Worked like a quick charm, going from an AMD 1207 socket, to an AM2 (& newer) heatsink w/ heatpipes.

Fit perfect and replaced a large fan that wouldn't fit in a smaller case. Very happy with the service and response. I'd do business again with them.
