The "glass" part of these is smaller than most bulbs with this base. They function fine, but just keep in mind if you care.Brightness is fine. These aren't the brightest bulb I've ever had, but they're fine for a living room. The colors are, in my opinion, a total gimmick, but they do work as intended.The remote is fine as well. There is about 5092 buttons on it, but the important ones are up top.Our house is old and there is a lack of built in lights and/or switches, so these remote controlled lights are a godsend.Super happy so far.

These bulbs remember the color setting even if the lamps are turned off, unlike some older bulbs I used.I only wish there were more color nuance, and the remote could choose which bulb to adjust. It works on every bulb simultaneously, unless you turn off the lamps of the ones you don't want to modify.But all in all, these are really nice and at a great price. Dimming is good, easy to use.
