Bosch laser measure Zamo (easy & precise measurement up to 20m, 3. gen. with adapter function)

I bought this measure as trying to get my wife to hold the end of a tape measure in the right place is a challenge in itself.The accuracy of this measure is pretty darn accurate to date and at distances of a few metres I have seen it actually mm perfect when compared to my trusty manual tape measure. I wish I had bought the accessories to go with it now and I am really impressed.. .. the laser dot is very good for winding jack russell dogs up also.. hours of fun watching them run around like loonies trying to catch the dot.. in fairness that probably might deplete the battery a bit quicker.

After I bought a disastrous cheap laser measure, u decided to go for this one, I couldn't be more happy!Easy to use, the batteries seem very durable (I am still using the original one while with the other I changed them multiple times), small enough to stay in your pocket.It has length measure but also area, it saves and displays the last measure taken and this can be used for the area.I am really happy with it, I honestly wish I bought it earlier.

This little device is a great tool to have in your toolbox.What I like most about it is the compact size of unit.My only criticism is it should come with a case.Overall 9/10 for me.

Very accurate. For distances close to 20m in daylight, you'll need a large white card to locate the laser spot. You may need to hold the device to your eye and look along the body of the unit to aim correctly. Carry spare batteries as lasers are power hungry.

Amazing kit, Bosch reliability and accurate results.Garden bench cushion measuring, wallpaper calculations with the surface area calculator, cable tidy protect, snooker table height, garden planning, astro-turf buying help.Instead of a standard metal tape device, this frees your hands up and not needing to have anything to hold on to, or worry about bending/sagging.Never had one of these but can't fault it... I use this to measure rooms while assessing their thermal performance. It saves time fiddling with a tape measure, only needs one hand, and avoids the risk of knocking things over. I’m quite blown away by it, and more than satisfied at the price.

I think mine needs recalibrating.Bought this to measure my Hampton, which on a good day is definitely well over 7 inches. According to this I'm measuring a paltry 6.5 inches, that's from the tip of the bell to the hinge. I'm nearly that on flop. Anyway, the unit is well made, incredibly light and does the job. Used it to work out sizes for plasterboards and costing up square footage etc.Not sure about the range as I've only used it inside, longest room being about 20ft.Definitely recommend.

I am currently building a house and finding it difficult to find people to hold my tape! I used this for the first time today outdoors over fairly long distances and it worked flawlessly. The single button operation makes it extremely simple to use with one hand and the recording of the last distance measured is very helpful when hanging from a ladder. An area for improvement would be to include either self-levelling or a spirit level bubble as any small discrepancies are magnified over long distances. However, this is a great product and highly recommended.
