Super Smart G2
I was not an LG fan and was coming from Nexus S (rooted running KitKat). I was so used to the vanilla form of Android that I was really apprehensive of buying a handset with a vendor customised version of android. I don't like touchwiz too much so even though Note 3 was a lure, I was not very 100% sure. Moreover Note 3 features are not really useful for me so paying another 6-8K for did not make sense. HTC was also ruled out due to pricing and in the Comparison I felt G2 had more to offer and had the latest hardware configuration. So it was..What I liked:Good build, plastic but feels sturdy in hand. sleek looking and sit well in my palm. However, since the back is plastic, worried of slipping out and so have a silicone skin on.Amazing screen - virtually no bezel, nice viewing angles and color rendition. I was sad that the on screen menu buttons wastes space but it actually vanishes where screen presence is needed - so can live with it.Good battery life - one of the key reasons for choosing G2. Just started but it gave me one full day even after extensively using it for exploring and setting up and downloading apps on wi-fi. So hopefully this is good news for me.Interface - LG's version of android is good, not too much tweaking. I like few customisation like the double tap, app options when headphones are inserted, lock screen animation, lock screen shortcuts and other small customisations. It suits my taste.Voice assist - wanted to specifically bring this out. I have used google voice help, apple siri and samsung S voice but honestly and surprisingly, G2 voice assist has been the most accurate for me (80% time correct). Pleasant surprise.Camera - though have not used it very much yet but whatever I see till now feels good. Loads of options.Hopefully I will be using the camera on this to produce some good images. What I felt could have been better:Sound output - both speaker and headphones were not up to my liking. I am still exploring the sound and might was to use really high quality sound and check.Screen shots with back button is an effort. Couldn't get right yet.no expandable memory.. mine is 32 GB. Hope I don't end up cursing myself for deliberately compromising on this.Overall I felt the phone is value for money. Latest hardware configuration with a good interface and customization options and good camera, I guess that is what we would look for in a phone. I found mine - go get yours :)

My first Android after iPhone...and I like quite a few things.
So far I've only been usung the iPhone which I still love and it still beats its competition hollow on too many points. Having said that, after my Iphone was stolen, I wanted to go for a slightly less expensive phone. At the time I bought it, it cost me 37 k. Let me list the things I love, and things I hate:Love: Screen size (better than the iPhone for sure), camera (almost at par with iPhone 5S) and display quality. Also, I feel LG is way better than the overpriced cheap looking Samsung any day.Like: User Interface (It is not as intuitive as iPhone but once you get used to it, not bad :))Neutral: Battery life. It is standard..no better than the competition around I feel.Hate: That you have to buy an anti-virus to protect your phone. With an iPhone you never have to worry about that.REALLY HATE: A serious lack of viable good quality accessories for this phone :(. I mean I have been trying to find a reasonable good looking case for weeks without luck. Online choices are pathetic, and any mobile shop I walk into, never caters for LG phones, since they are not the hot selling items! frustrating to say the least.I was about to buy Samsung, but when I held the samsung in my hand I was not impressed by the build/cheap plastic. What I did like about Samsung was their stylus! LG is also plastic...it is not a work of art phone like an iPhone. Now iPhone 5c is coming in plastic too. But I felt LG G2 was better than Samsung in every aspect at a lesser price. I just wish it also had a sleek stylus like the Samsung Note 3....I am so far happy with my phone.

Excellent phone for this price range. But one major Disadvantage is there..
Wow what a phone..!! My budget was 50k. After a long search in net i found this phone, wch price was less and also lot of User reviews were good.By seeing all those review I bought this Phone.Phone look was excellent. The rear keys was great to use.The camera clarity was better. But still Camera was taking much time to focus. Clarity was good in mid light also. I loved the 3d Panorama option.I was experiencing the actual android experience. The knock on feature was simply awessome. Audiozoom video zoom and new features wch was really utilizable features.I use Samsung Galaxy Note but Compared to samsung in all way this phone is best.CONS:The only problem wch i struggled in this phone is whenever i speak in phone i got a SCREECHING SOUND. Wch was irritating. I speak in phone atleast 5hours in a day so i felt this is a major issue wch i hav to take step.So I returned the phone. Thanks for Amazon I got my money back on the same day i returned.

Great phone
I owned LG P715 earlier in o/s Jelly beans 4.1. Though I liked that phone, it did not work well in call recorder apps. Many told that call recorder app does not work well in Jelly beans 4.1. So, temporarily I bought Micromax Canvas A114 in Android 4.2. Micromax was ok,working well in all apps, but many customisation in LG was not there.I have gone through the specs and reviews of LG G2 and decided to buy. Bought 32 GB version white through Amazon. Using it since two days. It is great in all aspects. Some features available in LG P715 is not there in LG G2, for example the auto suggest option in filling calendar entries. Otherwise, lot of new options, customisation and short cuts are there which are new to me and much useful. The camera quality seems average for a 13 MP spec.I will write more few days after using this phone .
