Ghost Shrimp securing thread
This is the business for wrapping bait onto a hook. Read about it in a " Ghost Shrimp " article. This is not what it is intended for but it holds bait to the hook and drastically reduces the need to rebait . Doesn't reduce the attractiveness of the bait at all .........Good stuff!!!!!!!!

Transparent does not mean invisible (at least with dark yarn)
This was my first time using knit-in elastic and it involved a bit of trial and error. For example, I found that the fabric was dragging on my cord (not surprising in retrospect), so I switched to metal DPNs and it was fine. I knew that the elastic would not be fully invisible but I was disappointed with how visible it is with black yarn. I've ordered the Prym Elastic Sewing Thread - Black and will test if it knits up the same.I thought that the elastic would pull in the stitches but it didn't really do that, the fabric was just more elastic (!) and firm. I'm not sure I could have tensioned it to be tighter. (I read that overtightening is a problem when you sew into the back of an already knit piece.) Apart from the visibility issue, this would have been perfectly fine for my intended use.

Perfect for adding stretch to crochet clothes!
This was very easy to use while I crocheted a granny square dress. You can easily just hold the elastic thread together with whatever yarn you’re using to make a stretchy garment. If you’re looking to use the elastic material to have a garment be able to stretch larger while still retaining its shape/size when not worn you’ll need to use a larger crochet hook to get the size stitch you want, as incorporating the stretchy thread scrunches stitches up. I hope that makes sense but either way this is a great product!

I'm Sure it Works Fine But...
I purchased this product to sew some waistbands on my garments and this type of thread is NOT meant for sewing machines. It's more like for like the thread used when knitting socks. This does NOT work on sewing machines! You can't pull the bobbin thread through the tray nor does the thread feed through the machine. There's a Stretch Thread that's used for sewing machines. I purchased it on Amazon the same day. THAT thread is meant for sewing machine use. It feeds through perfect and do not pop when you're trying on the garment. Purchase that kind of thread. Stretch Thread comes in all colors as well.

Elastic knitting for socks - Saves my cuffs
I knit this into socks for extra elasticity. It is truly invisible, but a little fiddly as a result. It works best when knitting it in, held together with the yarn. I have added it to cuffs successfully after the fact, but you need to be sure to create a little tension for the elastic to function properly. This is going to allow me to save several pairs that are too loose. I never want to be without this thread.

It’s a tiny thread bobbin…
Oops. I bought this for bracelets and didn’t see that it’s a tiny little spool, but the texture is right. Thin and stretchy, not the thick jelly style bracelet elastic that tends to break/snap.
