Required for Grohe mixer tap
Needed for the European connection on the Grohe mixer tap I purchased.Had to connect to valves so had to fit to copper pipe with an olive and nut to it so not straight forward. If ordering some Grohe raid and your getting a plumber in check as you might need these.

You've bought a decent tap, get the decent fittings!
When my plumber came to fit my Grohe tap in my new kitchen he said he couldn't do it without going to get some adaptors because of the size of pipework. Fortunately Amazon had recommended this product to me when purchasing the tap and I did a quick bit of research to understand why they were needed. So I had them, I just forgot temporarily as I'd ordered and received it all about 6 weeks before fitting. When I realised I hadn't handed them over to the plumber I went and found them out of the garage and gave them to him. His face lit up, and he said "oh thank god you got the Grohe ones, normally people get generic ones and they're usually s**t".It's hard to imagine what could be so different, but I trust my plumber implicitly having had a lot of successful work done by him. So these words coming out of his mouth mean I can faithfully say, these are what you need if you're trying to fit a Grohe tap in the UK!One minor negative against Amazon really, I managed to get the package of tap and adapters cheaper by buying them separately than in the recommended by amazon package. I think it was only £1 or something but still, worth checking.

Indispensable if you want to use Grohe taps in the UK
It's a shame that Grohe don't make their plumbing equipment specifically for the UK market but there it is, you need adaptors to connect Grohe taps in the UK. In my view, their taps sold in the UK should come packaged with the adaptors. You just have to remember to allow for the cost of the adaptors if selecting a tap on price.I like Grohe stuff though, it's good quality and durable. These adaptors do the job.

Buy from Grohe or Amazon.
Don't think the ones I got where made by Grohe. They looked almost like the ones in the picture. But I had to file wider flats on them as I couldn't get a spanner to stay on the hex on the 1/2" to 15mm due to half the hex being round instead of hexed. They also didn't come in the Grohe packaging. Which was a bit of a give away.It did the job. But I could have got a non Grohe set a few pounds cheaper from eBay or a plumbers merchant. So if you're buying this make sure to buy from Grohe or Amazon. Be wary of the 3rd party sellers you might be better/cheaper elsewhere.
