Very nice pant for work-casual or leisure.
I'm 5'8" and 165 - 185 lbs depending on season. I would historically be described as "athletic" or "husky"; I'm not fat but have relatively large thigh and ass (T&A) muscles. As such, finding OTS pants that fit around my T&A comfortably, but that don't leave me swimming in them at the waist, or in a short-enough inseam has always been a bit of a trick.More recently, the trend toward "skinny" pants - oddly even on men - has made this historical challenge a near impossibility: the last time I went to the mall to buy pants, the best I could do was get something that made me feel very uncomfy and was on the border of offensive in its contouring and reveal of my man-parts (not sure where the 'skinny' guys are hiding their C&B!).Anywho, I've been testing out a few styles of pants from Amazon's Essentials offering and have been generally pleased. These pants in very good.1) They fit pretty nicely. Fit as expected in waist and inseam, but yet have just enough room through the T&A without them looking like baggy clown pants. I do seem to have some gathering in the crotch, but it is not severe. See (2), below.2) The fabric is not stretchy, so fit is key. Given my unusual weight fluctuations, time will tell ow well the pants to adapt to my changing physique. At the moment, I'm on the higher end of my range, yet the pants dont feel overly tight. I suspect the fit will improve to "perfect" when I'm toward the lower end.3) The material and construction seem fine. I have not worn these pants much yet, but the initial quality absolutely exceeds the price.I still have a couple more styles to try, and these are currently at 2nd from top of my list; Amazon Essentials Men's Straight-Fit Casual Stretch Khaki Pant is ranking #1. But, with the Try before you Buy, there's really nothing to lose.

Fit varies from color to color
I have bought 8 pairs of these pants. The fit on them is not really consistent. Some will be tight at the hip and others at the waist band. They are durable, I have owned them for 5 years and out of those only two are no longer wearable due to holes.

fair price
I wish they were a little less bulky in the legs and the front pockets were a bit deeper! Other than that they are fine and the price is right.

Great value on mostly well-made pants.
The fabric quality, sewing and fit (relative to advertised size) are great. The back pockets, however, are so short that the button cannot be closed with a wallet inside.

Very Nice Pants for the Money
Really liked these pants, nice price and good sub for Dockers. To me, they ran small in the waist but I'm used to a waistband that has some give. Wish they would add a waistband that stretches (similar to Dockers). Wish they would also carry this in a 37 waist. I had to exchange due to waist being too small for me.

A little smaller sized than usual
I would have bought one size up after purchasing these but they are really comfortable to wear. I’ll buy again

Good Value and Fit
I have gotten two pairs (33 and 34 inch waist), ordered separately due to slight winter weight gain.In this medium range, they run true to size and have worked out well. The fabric is sturdy, they look good when worn, and are comfortable. They have a button closure, but on both pairs, the button is firmly attached. Both back pockets button, and this is unusual but may prove useful. The length, at 32" seems just right also. Wash and dry nicely.

They fit as promised particularly at the calves.
I got fed up buying trousers online and having to return them to the 'big' stores - Sainsbury's, Tesco's, Matalan, even Marks and Spencers. They all had the same fault - they are what I call, drainpipe trousers. They are so narrow at the bottom you have to sit down to pull them off because they won't fall under their own weight. When you sit down, the trousers ride up and when you stand up, they don't fall back to break over the shoe again. These Amazon trousers are perfect for me. They are solidly made, good colours, fit well at the waist and the length, and behave as trousers should. I bought one pair to check and once I wore them, ordered another two pairs. Excellent price too. Highly recommended if you are fed up wearing 'teddy-boy' type trousers. If ithelps - 24cm at the bottom vs 20 or 21cm for other makes.

Good fit, reat value for money.
I have to start with the price...wildly cheap.I usually pay £40-50 for my chinos from a well known online apparel company and while these trouser are not quite as good quality they are good quality especially for £19.Things I like,The waist fit. They fit on the waist, not above and not below it.The material. The material, while not top quality is good quality. The overall fit. The fit is almost exactly the same as my expensive chinos.Apart from the slightly less robust quality of the material, the only real differences are that the company from which I normally order chinos tailor them to my exact leg length and offer waist sizes from 32inches, rising in 1 inch increments up to 44inches. Then, for up to £30 more per pair you'd expect a little something extra.Things I don't like.Belt loops. There are fewer belt loops on these chinos but only one fewer so I suppose I am picking nits, although, I do think it makes a difference.Trouser cuffs. I don't like the jeans type of cuff finish. My usual chinos have traditional plain trouser cuff hems and I prefer them. Call me picky. If closely looked at, in the places people don't see, these trousers are not as well finished as my other chinos and the material doesn't seem quite as heavy duty.I bought these trousers to wear about the house and in the neighbourhood to save my other more expensive olive green chinos but really, I have worn and will wear them into town. All in all, at £19 these trousers really are a steal, excellent value for money.I rarely give five stars to anything that isn't of remarkably high quality because I think to do otherwise devalues the star rating system, however I have given these trousers five stars in the value for money category.

They fit and look good
I used to be taller and bigger [you do shrink with age] and could never get stuff off the peg but I now can thanks Amazon a pair of gent's trousers in a plain classic cut at a sensible price which look far more expensive than they where I will be ordering some more of these

Excellent chinos
Excellent chinos and an excellent price. I’ve been recently been looking for chinos especially in this colour that look like this as it’s more of a retro design with the front lines and is more of my style. they fit amazing but make sure you size one down to get a perfect fit around the waist as my waist size is 30 and i went down to a 29, the leg inseam i choose was 30 as it cuts perfectly near my ankle. i do like the like the relaxed/straight fit it has as it’s in trend and it’s also it was what i was looking for, overall a great pair of chinos to buy.
