A bit pricey for what it is, but I use it all the time.With two bottles you get more grill time, but by halving the decompression over a single bottle I get a higher, and more adjustable, flame.It won't leak if there is only one bottle hooked up, or if there is nothing hooked up to the outlet, so no need for a valve.

It's really a simple piece of equipment - basically a brass "T" with two fittings for 1lb propane bottles in, and single 20lb fitting out, surrounded by a plastic case with removable flat base that snaps in/out.The 20lb fitting, on the case I received, has both the new (QCC1) & old(POL) connections cast into it, but I was unable to get a QCC1 fitted hose to work, had to go with POL. Other than that minor hiccup, it appears to work as advertised; supplies enough propane to double the runtime on a catalytic heater or stove burner, swapping out bottles is painless. The cost feels a tad steep, for what the product ultimately is, but when a single 1lb bottle of propane doesn't quite cut it, this is still more convenient than a 5+lb HP tank.

This worked great. For some reason, the first use only one bottle was used. Maybe I didn't screw the other one on all the way? After that it has used both bottles. This product does not have a shut off valve but it really doesn't need one. When you disconnect from the hose, the valve inside the manifold seats and you have secured the bottles anyway. I bought it to use on our small propane fire pit, but have also used it to back-up my bottle in the BBQ. Lasts a long time on the fire-pit, and so much smaller than having a 20lb tank sitting there.

I bought this for a small Buddy propane heater. In the beginning it was only using one tank then the heater would go off even though there was still one full bottle. After a few tries it did start working properly, using both bottles. I suppose this may be useful in some applications but is you are just using your heater for a couple hours, it is easier to just use one bottle. Also, for what it is, it seems a bit expensive.

Does a great job as long as you are careful not to cross thread the bottle... the bottom does tend to fall off too more often than one would like, but the slight failings are far outweighed by the ability to power anything needing a 20# tube without carrying a 20# tube

I use this for a 40,000 btu grill in an apartment where we can't have a standard 20 lb propane tank. It cranks out so much heat, that the tanks freeze, decreasing heat output. Solution: go to staples and get a 6 quart plastic storage box. Put about 2-3 inches of water in it. This touches the bottom of the propane cans, dissipating the cold. And they pump out gas at full pressure.

We use this all the time while camping. We use it for a Sidekick grill and an outdoor water heater. The small propane bottles do not last all that long, but having 2 bottles in tandem is great! It also is an easy way to carry 2 propane bottle on a camping trip and then just hook it up to your grill.It hooks up with a standard propane hose, instead of having to use an adapter for a single small bottle

I bought this because it seems one can is just not enough to really work well when you are preparing a meal - then you are left with a partial can - really of no use unless you want to change in the middle of a meal. Now I can put a full and the partial in this and it does just fine. If you are camping out and don't want to carry one of the larger propane units - this works just great
