Educational Insights Hot Dots Pens, 6 Pack

I love these pens and my students enjoy practicing their skill using them. Unfortunatley, the older models are not correctly responding to some of the cards. I have invested a lot of my own money so my students could have an enjoyable way of learning.It is frustrating when the pens do not provide them with the correct answers... especially when they know they are correct.

After about one week of light use by my kindergarten students one broke!! (It kept saying the answer was wrong, even though it was right). This was especially disappointing since I had them sent all the way to New Zealand. I wouldn't buy them again, they are fussy to use because the students have to be really precise with touching the small black tip of the pen to the small black dot on the card.

These pens were not good. I received 3 good pens and 3 that were defective. I tried one and it worked. I therefore assumed that they all would work. I did not try the rest because I did not have any batteries at the time. When I finally tried them, I discovered the defect. I do not like the return policy that this company has. I should be given the chance to get a product that works no matter what the time frame is. I could see a year or so would be too late. But, less than a month is not at all suffice. Please supply me with a refund or the three pens.

All the pens worked and operated as they should, but they are NOT the ones pictured. The pens I received were the older version, the yellow ones, which I could have purchased cheaper on other sites.

Although they work fine, these pens do not have a long life. One pen of the 6 came not working. Luckily, amazon is great and replaced it with no problems. However, I have more of these pens and they don't last long. If I didn't have $150 in hot dot cards, I would not have purchased them again.

Pens came and they all work perfectly. The only problem I had with them was that they sent the yellow and blue ones instead.

A VERY good deal - best i could find. My students love these and continually ask in the classroom when they can use them again. It was well worth the money invested.

My students LOVE using the Hot Dots! The pens were sturdy enough to survive a whole year of 2nd graders using them.
