The storage is large enough for two large throws, it’s easy to clean with a vacuum brush, and it stays far enough off the floor to avoid damage from puppy accidents :-) Easy to open without being so touchy that it lifts off by itself. It’s also very sturdy - my 300+ lb husband can sit on it no problem. This is not a step stool, but one for feet or an extra seat. Slides easily on my floors and easy to assemble. Love the blue as well. Great buy !

This folding storage ottoman has been such a great addition to the kids’ room! It’s not only a great spot to stash toys, books, or blankets, but it also works perfectly as a step stool to help my little one get up onto their bed. It’s sturdy enough to support them safely, and the height is just right.The design is clean and simple, and it fits in great with the room décor. You can fold it to put away, but we just keep it out to use as a stepping stool for the little one. Definitely a smart buy for anyone looking for something functional, space-saving, and kid-friendly. I was pleased with this item. At first I thought I bought the wrong color thinking the cream white I bought would be too white, but it's not - blends in well with the other furniture. My husband bought one last year - the Camel color - for his man cave which I would have preferred but I decided against returning and reordering.It seems sturdy and is comfortable as an ottoman on which to elevate my legs. I love the storage compartment - I have books in there that I read everyday instead of stacking them on a table. The legs are black plastic that are easily screwed on without tools. I would have preferred a nice wood but then of course the price would be more. The fabric on one side has some buckling by one of the legs, but not enough to detract from it. That side I keep out of the line of sight. It didn't take long for someone's dirty fingerprints to get on side of the cover but they came off easily with just a damp clean white cloth. The top padding is not soft and cushy but it's good support for my legs.

Easy to build. Open storage under the lid making it easy to store things. The build quality it sturdy and strong. The size is perfect for my set up. Adds a nice little touch to my living set. Great value for your money!!

Assembly was very easy, and the product looks great. Unfortunately, the MDF board in the cover cracked the first time someone sat on it - and that someone was my petite wife who only weighs 100 lbs! I cut a piece of 1/4" plywood to 14 1/4" by 14 1/4". Then I disassembled the cover by removing many staples and removed the broken "board" and side pieces. The side pieces of the cover are also thin MDF, but I was able to reuse them after I got the long staples out of them (the staples were used to attach the side pieces to the original MDF cover board). I used small brads to attach the side pieces to the piece of plywood before reassembly. I rewrapped everything in the fabric, re-stapled it and was done. Now the ottoman looks great, and I know it is a much better, quality product. If you are not the handyman type, I'd probably pass on this one, but if you get one and it breaks, hopefully my review will help you to make it into a better product.

This is a great little ottoman with built in storage. I have a standing desk and often use it in a higher position and sit on a taller drafting chair and this acts as a perfect foot rest. I would say that the weight limits are totally true, however I would say don’t accidentally put too much heal weight on it, It will eventually succumb to the weight. Otherwise it is great, I just have had to buy a few different ones because I’ve broken the top by putting too much single point weight on it.
