Does the job very well.
Have my wifi router at one end of the house and my TV at the other. TV kept buffering when streaming movies. Had used a wifi range extender like this years ago when living in Africa and found it worked well. Decided to try it again. This Rock Space dual band wifi range extender was easy to set up and use. However, using it in its wifi mode did not immediately resolve the problem. Wasn't sure if that's a fault of my router, this range extender, or my TV itself. Decided to wire it direct to the TV. In other words, this unit receives its signal over the air through wifi, then sends it on to the TV through a standard connecting cord from the range extender to the TV. It works perfectly!! No more signal drops. No more buffering, No more interruptions when watching streaming movies. This little unit is well worth the money.Have another TV in that end of the house, but in the family room in the basement. Different brand of TV but same problem. Had a router/extender on hand and put it in the vicinity of the downstairs TV. Still no joy. Again, connected that TV to the router with an internet cable and problem resolved.Am inclined to think the issue is the TV's lack of ability to pick up a wifi signal rather than it being an issue with my router or this wifi range extender or my router/extender. Can sit in that end of the house (upstairs or downstairs) with a laptop and watch streaming movies with no problems. Anyway, this Rock Space unit resolved my upstairs internet connection issues a second time (once in Africa and once here in the US) and I highly recommend them. Good results. Good value for the money.

Doesn't deliver speed claimed
I have had this Rock Space AC750 WIFI extender for a few months and bought it because of good reviews. I have placed it everywhere in the house and many close spots to the modem. My modem delivers 1000 mbps speed off of fiber optics. This extender the best has done so far is 26mbps - far less than its 750 mbps spec claim. Its speeds fluctuates tremendously and its red light on most of the time. Recently, it goes through intermittent signal failure. It is still under warranty but you can't reach its seller which is likely located in Hong Kong and no customer service. I haven't gotten a reply from customer service.UpdateA few weeks after I posted my review I heard from the manufacturer of this item. They said the delay response to my email was due to Covid-19 and promptly shipped me a replacement unit. The replacement works fine without giving me the consistent fluctuation in speed and the red light. However, the download and upload speed is still well below the spec claim. I have revised my rating to 4 stars because of prompt customer service shipping me a replaced unit. The replaced unit has better speed than the one it replaced but still below the spec.

Easily the best wifi extender I've ever used
So the first extender I ever used was an old Asus router with custom firmware that allowed me to make it a repeater. It was cool but didn't work all that well. The second one was a cheap netgear extender that only worked for 2.4ghz networks but I guess it got the job done well enough. But the speeds were all over the place and slow in many areas.Enter this extender. This one is a whole different ball game; in a league of its own. It works for 2.4 and 5ghz and it does this super well. I found the signal strength, speed and quality to be flat out excellent! I couldn't recommend it more. I have it hooked to a smart plug so as to not use it when I don't need it but I find that I leave it on all the time now since it is so reliable. The only nick in the whole sculpture would be the setup process. The process itself is straight forward and works well but once you pick one of your networks (either 2.4 or 5 ghz) it is very difficult to "log back in" to the repeater to change the name of the network(s). It is possible but only if you have some foresight and knowledge of MAC addresses. I am not a fan of that; please fix that.Otherwise, keep up the good work and if you need a repeater then please don't hesitate to get this. I've been using it for over a month and just love it.

Worked well at first, but company had customer service challenges when technical issue arose
I was able to set up the extender fairly simply initially. When I got a new router, I could not re-establish a connection with the extender. I've been in tech for more than 20 years, and found neither of connection methods worked. WPS: with extender plugged in less than a meter away, it did not work. Ethernet: IP address provided by Rockspace did not work (192.168.0.254). I chatted with tech support, and she said the only fix was to give her control of my pc. For what should be a "routine" install?!? I asked to simply provide me with a valid link to login to admin, or written step by step instructions. She said that was not possible. I asked "so unless I give you access to my pc, I should just throw this extender away." She replied "yes, that is correct." So extender is in the trash and I'm writing the caution to the rest of you: it *might* work on first install, but never change/upgrade your router or it will not work. And "customer support" is horrible.UPDATE 6/3/21: After posting this review, I was contacted by a representative of rockspace. They offered to replace or refund, and expressed apologies for my experience. I accepted the refund. As mentioned above: initially, the extender seemed to install and work very easily. But when it stopped working, it took this public review to get action. Perhaps they've corrected that issue? Keep looking a recent reviews and see what folks are saying. Because of that follow up, and my belief they're working to improve the customer support, I'm upgrading my review from 1 star to 3
