I love thia sign because it is both a clear warning to vagrants yet funny to friends because they know my dog is friendly (and looks a lot like the dog depicted) and he'll jump on you because he's so excited for company lol. It's pretty small but I positioned it under a motion light so it can be read better. I would def have paid more for a larger option. Though it isn't the most legally fail safe way to alert intruders that you have a dog ("Dog Inside" or "Dog on Property" are best for protecting your liability) it is a great, vomical supplementary option.

We like it. Its sturdy, looks like it will hold up for a long time. Even those who do not read English can understand what the sign means. No our dog has never bitten anyone but she is a guard dog and this covers us in case anyone decides to come onto our property uninvited. Good choice. Hope the paint on it holds up. We shall see.

Even though it's in my lease agreement, I've managed to get away with not having a "beware of dog" sign posted on my gate for the last few years. Most of the signs are boring and I just didn't like having a big, ugly sign on my fence. I noticed one of my neighbors had this sign, so I was on a mission to find it. Lo and behold, Amazon to the rescue! It looks great on my gate, and will look amazing with holiday lights strung around it come October and December.

Wanted a warning sign as we own a very protective German Shepard but didn't want anything stern sounding. This sign was perfect!
