HP Deskjet 1051 All-in-One Printer

This is a wonderful product! I've had it for one year, and it hasn't let me down, yet. I got it hooked to my desktop computer, now. I don't even remove it from where it is. When I need to use it, I just turn it on, & voila! Everything at my finger tips! It prints, scans, and copies very, very well. I take care of my personal business with it. I also get news on sales of HP products. This all-in-one printer is just wonderful! I payed only 30 some odd dollars for it, and it works very, very well. I would reccommend anyone to buy this printer if they cannot afford an expensive printer. This is a good printer to start with. This is the first printer I've owned on my own since I started having computers! Wild, right? I know. But, give this thing a try. If you take good care of it, it'll take good care of you.

I had problems setting up this printer with my computer. The seller was extremely quick in responding to my questions and offered suggestions to check. Turns out this is not compatible with my computer. Seller was very quick with a refund. I would give the seller 6 stars in service.

Had to return this printer since it would automatically jam the paper going in or, after playing around with it for awhile; going out. Maybe the components inside were seated wrong when they made it? Scanner worked alright, but this has really tarnished my opinion of HP (who normally make decent stuff in my experience)Totally avoid unless you want a big headache

This is a good, sturdy little printer for the money. It does what you need it to do. I picked it partially because the cartridges can be ordered ib XL. So far no complaints, other than if it has a problem, it can't tell you, so you just have to figure it out, such as a paper jam. No big deal.

I received this printer and have been unable to use it thus far because I didn't happen to have a USB cable around to use with it. As far as I'm concerned boxing a product like a printer without all the connecting cables necessary to use it is unacceptable. I don't know if this has become standard practice these days, but even as a norm it's completely unacceptable. Without any regard for the quality of printing, this inadequacy alone makes this printer worthy of the 2 star rating I'm giving it. I'm sure many will disagree that this deficiency merits such strong criticism, but I bought a printer because I have need for it, not on a whim, and a nasty surprise like a missing component really sours me on my purchase of a product for which I spent good money. At the very least, the inadequacy should be made very clear on the box and on all online advertisements for the product.

It's worth the price. But it's a cheap printer. Slow and soaks the paper with ink.

I bought this to replace a new Epson I just bought. Hated it ink either needed cleaned or was out.None of those problems with this printer. Print heads or part of the cartridge. The 4 star ratingis because you cannot change the resolution etc from the print command, you have to go to thePrinter program; not even from color to black and white.

I am very happy with the new printer. I have not had it very long, so have not used it much but the test my son did showed that it does a good job and I am happy with that.
