They work well for the kitchen but are a magnet for hair if you have pets.

I did read reviews on size selection based on what I read is how I picked my size. They are comfortable and lightweight. Working during the summer they were very comfortable, but not sure on the colder months to come. The only major complaint I have is the zipper on these were poor quality compared to others I have bought. The back pocket is a bit shallow to hold things effectively. Overall I would recommend them for general purpose use.

If you're a real restaurant worker. They fit snug around your waist. You can have your cell phone in your back pocket and you won't have to pull up your waist band all day long.And you want a zipper when you pee. Pulling the waist band down to pee is difficult especially with a Chef coat on.

Every time I buy the houndstooth pattern chef pants the seat seam comes loose. I wear pants from this company almost exclusively and these are the only ones I have problems with. It looks like they don’t sew enough fabric in the seam and it just unravels. The seam doesn’t tear. Just comes apart. This is the third pair in 2 years I have bought and within 3 months this always happens. I won’t purchase again

I've been waiting for someone to make a pair perfect pants my entire life, and here they are! Moderately tapered leg, high quality fabric that doesn't shrink or fade, pockets, zip fly and the perfect elastic waistband. Generously tall elastic waistband to allow full range of movement without drooping! Drawstring included and good to have but probably not needed. Everything about this trouser design is thought out and beautifully executed. Bravo!!

Very comfortable and great fit. My fiancé is 6’2 and they go to his feet. He loves these pants for work.
