Hit or miss on crimping the outdoor grade 23 gauge Cat6
We purchased the Crimping tool and the LINKUP - RJ45 Connectors ( Cat6A Ethernet Shielded Modular Plugs | for Large Diameter Wires (22AWG) Termination ) at the same time on Amazon. Note, we also bought from Lowes; a testing tool, wire scissors and cable jacket stripper. We have successfully built 5 cables so far. During the process we had a few defective crimps ranging from open to short issues. We also lost 4 or more when the crimp didn't work and the connector came off. Note there is a setting on the side of crimper which we changed but it was inconsistent, ie sometimes it helped and other times it caused a short. We have an email into Linkup support to see if they have any ideas.090920Linkup emailed me w/ a picture stating: ' Keep pushing until all wires are all the way to the end'Not real helpful, since we have been pushing wires to the end of the connector.Note, one of the five cables worked for 24 hours and just quit.101020The tool works great once you figure out 1) strip the wire to 2 cm vs recommended 1.5 cm particularly if you have outdoor cat6 and 2) be very patient is getting all wires straight and lined up.

Good quality and performance!
I bought these because we have some CAT6 cable that is 22AWG and the connectors we normally use would not work. The wire was too big and was extremely difficult to get into the connector. All other connectors I have looked at would only handle 23AWG wire. I finally found these and once I got them in, I have found that they work VERY well with our 22AWG CAT6 cable. We bought the smallest package we could to test them out, but since then I have bought a couple more large packages of them to keep on hand. They definitely work great and make the job easier.

Better for stranded
Three prongs on gold connectors are not offset wide enough (if they are offset at all, as to my eye they are not) to squeeze 22/23 AWG solid core between them - they simply slide one side or the other. They do end up making contact because they touch the side of the core, but I wouldn't trust it 802.3bt PoE at 100W.It was also my first experience with load bars and they do simplify the process a lot, so your wires enter the pathways in the jack almost perfectly straight all the time, but apparently it doesn't help much with proper connection... I do allow that you may get one prong out of 50 connectors that will actually wrap around the core as it should, but I only did one cable with these so far, so it's 8x2=16 wires and none actually engaged properly with the solid cores from the looks of it.

Perfect fit for shielded cables with foiled pairs
Used 22 of these for my home cat7 RJ45 ends. The shielded overall and foiled pairs wouldn’t allow for normal sized boots. These large diameter cable boots were a perfect fit and go nicely with the blue cable and gold connectors. Would definitely recommend to others finding impossible fits for larger Ethernet cables. Great buy and priced right.

Perfect for grounded/shielded RJ45 plugs!
I purchased some grounded RJ45 connectors from Cable Matters that do not have a punch down type strain relief and I had a very hard time finding a compatible crimper to use with them. After much trial and error, I was able to find this pair of crimpers which work great! As a bonus, the crimp handles appear to be broadly compatible with standard paladin type crimp dies so you can change them out and use for crimping coax and other terminations. Solid build and high quality ratchet mechanism. I suspect this tool will be a reliable addition to my installation kit for years to come.

Perfect fit!
If you have TrueCable 23AWG underground burial shielded cable, these are the perfect fit.

Doesn't work
Maybe it's my skill, but I've made dozens of braided wire CAT6 cable ends without an issue. I cannot make one with solid-core and these ends. Not one.

Great for outdoor / direct burial CAT6 / CAT6E cabling
I was doing multiple runs of CAT6 and CAT6E underground cabling for my PoE cameras. However, I could not find any connectors that would fit this massive cable. It is about 75% larger than standard CAT6, a pretty big difference. These connectors, however, worked flawlessly, fitting the large diameter in with no problem.

Use the right crimping tool not a piece of rubbish
CAT 6 A LAN over 2 houses & a workshop , for a combined Fritzbox system operating on Fibre in --ethernet out

Poorly made, doesn't work, and just sloppy.
The crimping tool does a messy job and misses one pin every time, and doesn't offer cutting or stripping like other higher-quality tools for a similar price. This is while using the connectors and boots listed on this same page. I thought maybe I was making an error, and waited too long to return this, which is my fault, but hopefully I can save someone else the frustration of trying to use this mess of a product.

Good RJ45 Plugs
These RJ45 are good. I only had a couple of them which didn't work for me, more likely because I messed up during the crimp process. Please keep in mind that you cannot use the same crimper type as the one for CAT5 or CAT5E RJ45s plugs. You need to use something like the "[LINKUP] CAT6A RJ45 Crimper for Larger Diameter Connector | Hand Tool Cutter Stripper | RJ11 RJ12 | Comfortable and Compatible" available here on Amazon.caI just wish these RJ45 were pass-through as it would make life much easier. They come with load bars, which helps, but a pass through would be ever better.I also wish they had how-to instructions available for these, like they have for the [LINKUP] 6 Pack - Cat6A RJ45 10G Shielded Die-Cast Metal Field Termination Plug. Unfortunately I had to figure out on my own and lost a couple of connectors in the process as I had the load bar inserted backward in my first tries.

Beware..!!!
Seems cheap, no markings anywhere for color scheme to line up the wires. A quick reference would be nice. It does not come with the boots, maybe they should put it in the title, or in the first couple lines in the description. Not the last line in vague language.

Poor Quality Control
Poor quality control. This crimper is off just enough that the last 2 connectors are not pushed in all the way. I had multiple failed connections, bought a new crimper and they worked right away. Disappointed in the quality control on such an expensive item.
