This fountain looks awesome on our pond. We had some issues setting it up, but the follow up support from the vendor was outstanding! They helped us figure it out, and it looks great! The sound is also very pleasant. We run ours 24/7.

Gave it a 3 for customer service.We researched for many years and finally decided to get this fountain. It was a bit more than we’d hoped to spend but reviews and photos looked perfect for us. It also was to be connected to our110 plug we had near the pond. It worked perfectly (and quietly) for a few weeks. Then it Abruptly stopped. Didn’t slow down, make noises or anything weird, just stopped.After going back and forth with the merchant and with Scott aerator (both responded almost immediately which was wonderful) , we sent it back to Scott aerator and the people at Scott said it really needed to be upgraded to a 230. I didn’t research well and turned out it needed to be a certain footage from the BREAKER box, not just the plug itself. Ours was about 3ft too far. However it worked for 3 weeks.Scott agreed to “upgrade” for no charge but the electrical upgrade for a 230 was over 2k. Not including trenching and tearing up the yard. Im not positive this was possibly even needed since he said fishing line had stopped the motor (not the footage to the pole being 3ft too far?). We didn’t see any fishing line in the motor when we removed it to ship back but it could have been there. If it was, was the upgrade even needed? Our pond is small so now the fountain is a bit of an overkill. It sounds like a jet engine which almost drowns out the water splashing which we loved listening to with the first fountain.It’s still beautiful, just not what I had hoped for. It’s way too big and loud jet noise now for our small 1/4 acre pond. But on a good note, the seller and Scott aerator were easy to reach and fast to respond to at least get it back working.

Scotts da-20 stopped working a few months after warranty expired, almost 6 years old. I bought this pump because it stated the life span of the pump was 10-13 years and mine only lasted about 6 yrs. Disappointed to pay the price for a relatively short life span on this pump.
