Nice and comfy
Nice sock with a lightly padded sole and comfortable fit. They are fairly thick but not super-thick like the lined sub-weather socks. I wear a size 7 shoe and this has plenty of extra room without feeling too baggy. The stripe around the ankle is different than shown in the ad (ad picture included for comparison) but they are still cute and I am glad that I bought them.

Good for the elderly
Bought these for my 97yo mother, who had a few falls (thank goodness not serious ones) using non-skid socks. She actually sleeps with these on, so that when she gets up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom she can do so without falling. (As most older people need to GO when they get up during the night, it’s hard for them to mess around with trying to put on slippers, especially people wha can’t bend over easily anymore). Have already ordered another pair.

Comfortable, but a little loose
Great concept, but even though I went exactly by the sizing chart, mine were a bit too big. The rubber soles tend to add weight, so to get a nice, snug, sock-like fit, you need to order a size smaller. I gave my original pair away because they were a bit too big, but will be ordering another pair in a size smaller.

Perfect
I love them and ordered for two others who love them. It's socks that won't get dirty omN the bottom or holes. BUT, order a size down they run large. 9-10 would be xlarge. I am an 8 and wearing the large and feel like I could still size down for more snugness.

Great house shoe if you mostly want a flexible rubber sole.
Context: I wear these around the house because my feet get cold easily and the rubber sole provides some relief from our tile floors. It's also nice to be able to run into the garage or onto the porch without worrying that every speck of dirt will stick to my socks/feet and get tracked back inside.Fit: I wear women's 7.0-8.0 size shoes and bought the size recommended on the chart. I have thin heels, and a wider ball of the foot. The sole of these shoes completely covers the bottom of my foot. I don't have a problem with them slipping off my feet, but it may be relevant that I regularly have a problem when buying flats that the heel of the shoe digs in too much. The sock fabric is very stretchy, and though I wouldn't rave about how soft the fabric is, it's not scratchy at all. The material is not thick, which I like because I didn't by these for warmth. (They're basically just warm enough to defend against air conditioning.) The sole is more flexible than a flip flop sandal, so all in all they're very comfortable. You can feel the weight of the sole compared to wearing socks alone, but they're still pretty lightweight.Cleaning: I throw these in the laundry about once a week and they've held up for about 1.5 years so far.I'm reviewing these now because I've gotten so used to having these that I decided to buy a couple more pairs for backup. I'm also considering buying even more to keep on hand for visitors who may feel uncomfortable wearing shoes in our house but also don't want to walk about barefoot or in socks. Since the sizing isn't too specific and they can be thrown in the laundry, they should function well for that purpose.Edited to clarify: I bought the slippers in solid black that don't come all the way up the ankle.

You must wear socks w/ these
These are great for use inside or small treks outside to get the paper/mail.I've found if I wear them for a long period of time, your feet start to sweat, and that is due to the rubber sole. Best to wear these w/ socks always and don't look at these as an all day shoe.I keep mine by the door for use when I need to go outside for a bit. I use them inside more so in cold months to warm up my feet. You will not slip in these - the rubber has treads too. If used for the elderly - keep in mind that feet start to sweat after about an hour - which could cause problems later on down the road. All in all - perfect for short term use - and very comfy.

The Best So Far
I used to wear those "moon boots" from Finger Hut and was upset when I couldn't get them anymore, but these are far better. The fabric is a soft, slightly stretchy cotton heather, and inside the heel there is a rubber transfer that keeps the heel in place. I always wear them over socks, so it doesn't matter that the inside bottom is a bit rough. When worn over socks, they are very comfortable and do not get too hot in the summer. I wear them all the time around the house.I wash them in the machine but leave them out to dry, so they have lasted very well, which helps somewhat to justify the cost. I recently bought more in case the company gets sacked by the COVID Depression. Every time I find a great product, they quit making it.

Warm and comfortable
Love love LOVE these slipper socks. Very thick, warm, and well-made. I have laminate floors and bad knees. Laminate can be slippery and these are wonderful! I was buying the "moon boot" type slipper socks but they would twist on my feet sometimes and they wore out pretty quickly. Not so with these. LOVE the thicker soles. I started buying them as gifts.
