Literature: An Introduction to Fiction, Poetry, Drama, and Writing, Compact Edition (7th Edition) 7th Edition

I got this book for one of my classes but I really enjoyed it. It has some of the best stories you will ever read. I am someone who dislikes reading but some of these stories are easy to read and follow. I thought of selling my book but I might have to keep it for future reference. The paper is a little thin so be careful with writing with a pen and highlighting. I still highly recommend it though it’s not like the paper is the worst thing in the world. The book contains many short stories, poetry, and drama. It has old and newer stories as well. "A Clean, Well-Lighted Place" is a short story by American author Ernest Hemingway and it was my favorite to read from this book.

I enjoy all the short stories this book offers.

Very happy the product is very good, there is really no problem with it there is only cosmetic wear on the outside but the inside is very good. I love the fact there is writing within it is of much help. The person whose book this belong did a very good job at note taking. Thank you, once more.

I chose 4 stars because the book was delivered quickly and in the condition which was stated online when I was considering purchasing it. It was a fair price, and the correct order. I have never been dissatisfied with any order I have placed on amazon. Thank you for making a small part of college semesters less stressful and less expensive:)

The description said the book was "like new". The book was not in "like new" condition. The cover is bent and scratched. Pages are also bent. There are some stains on the back cover. Not pleased with my purchase.

This book contains a lot of content related to short stories, poetry and drama. Due to the size, the pages are very thin and sometimes it is hard to find things quickly when the pages are so thin. (No fault of Amazon's). I recieved the book when expected, however, the front cover had a tear in the right upper corner. The first few pages are kind of crumpled down due to the front cover tear. There were no markings or highlighting in the book that I have come across. I have always been impressed with the Amazon service and that is why I am a repeat customer.

This book actually does a good job teaching students about different types of writing, prose, poetry, ect. It also helps you examine the parts of writings, characterization, symbolize, theme. and much more.

Got this book for a class and it actually has some interesting stories in it. Only thing I don't like is that it's hard to hold comfortably since it's so thick but has a soft cover.
