Some of the promotional pictures show the book weight to be more "flat", which was what I was expecting. The product I got has a sudden and fairly extreme sharp angle near the middle crease. 1) This causes the words/image to get warped a little near the crease. 2) The angle makes it such that the book weight cannot actually fit in a book as I was hoping/expecting. As you can see in my pictures, it's kind of "floating" above it (only the very, furthest edges of the book weight are actually touching/keeping the book open). It also cannot keep most books open on its own. If it can, you still have the floating/not fitted problem.

I’m sorry I bought this product . It’s well made but not what I needed it for. It works fine if your sitting at a table, or in college or library table, but not on my lap or in bed or in a chair. I should of asked more questions. Wish I could send it back... my bad!

This is and works well as advertised, and is very nice. The main thing to note, that a buyer might not think of right off the top, is how it compares to traditional leather weights.The downside is that it is less compact. This impacts storage of course, but is not a major issue because it is not that large. The only thing to be aware of is that it may not fit in a drawer the way a leather one would. Depends on the drawer (and on how full the drawer is).The upside (huge for me as I read and write a great deal): The complete transparency means I can see the entire printed page at all times, and therefore do not have to move it around, while reading a single page. This is especially nice if you are trying to quote a citation without moving the book weight multiple times, or if you are using a book as a directions manual (cook book, crafts directions, etc.)Nice tool then, especially useful for serious readers, writers, and also for craftsmen or cooks.

I do wish it was a bit bigger, like standard hardback size. It’s only about the size of a manga, but it does work so I guess I can’t really complain.

This is so cool! Why have I not discovered this sooner? It's fabulous! I love this! It holds my books so I can read and write at the same time! I know that sounds corny, but it makes so much difference. This is a wonderful book weight. I was still using the old fashioned one, fighting it to keep it in place! I say to anyone who still reads REAL books try this I think you'll love it!

I doesn't really fit your book, so you can't read very well with it. When you get to the spine of the book, you kind of have to tilt or arrange it so it's just holding the book open. It's better than nothing.

Constantly get compliments on this! I have it holding a display Bible open and I couldn't have found a better option that this product!

I love this! Saw it on Pinterest and had to have it. Great for when you want to read on your lunch break and just want to lay your book down on the table and free up your hands. And protects the pages of your book. Great for cookbooks too.

It's too bad!The product is almost exactly what I wanted - but it's not close enough.I got it so I could read books on my desk while resting my head on my hand.. Lazy - I know.. but because of the distortion at the edge, I have to move my head left to right in order to figure out what the words are - defeating the purpose. It's unfortunate that this purchase didn't come with multiple sizes.I'd have spent an extra $10 or $15 for a 3 size pack. The one I have could and that's currently available should be the small size.It's plastic so I don't think it should cost much more than that - but who knows - I'm not in manufacturing so it's not fair of me to say that.All this to say, it doesn't work for me. I really wish it did.So close, yet so far.

Great product! I got this for my mom so she can keep her page while not ruining her cook book in the kitchen. the product is the size of most standard novels. it would fully cover a novel, however any other book it is a little small for. Overall, good quality and does the job!
