Absolutely terrible. Don't waste your money, spend extra for something reliable.
Got this and spent hours just trying to get it to connect and configure it. Had to search like crazy to find anything online, and none of it helped. Contacted the seller, they gave me the basic manual and a link to download the 'tools' for it, which also didn't work. Finally figured out I could connect to the RTSP stream in VLC after running a port scan and found that 2 ports were open. Got a live feed from it, but still can't access the configuration. Essentially it's worthless to me, as I wanted to configure it for WiFi and have it outside. As it stands, it requires to be connected via ethernet, and I am completely unable to configure the username or password, or set up any kind of WiFi. The company eventually tried to offer me a $12 refund on a $35 purchase as compensation. I rejected that, as that is ridiculous, and they offered $25 instead. I decided to go ahead and do that, just so this wasn't a total loss. So I essentially paid them $10 to waste about a day of my time and a worthless camera. Avoid them like the plague, do NOT buy this camera. Spend the extra on something reliable, I've learned my lesson - please take my advice and learn from my mistake and save yourself now.

... to make it work (I agree the instructions are lame and written by a non-English speaker)
Here's what you need to do to make it work (I agree the instructions are lame and written by a non-English speaker). Plug in the power and connect to router with ethernet cord. Run the program on the enclosed CD called P2P ID and click the Find button. You'll see your camera show up in the cameras window on the left. Click on it in the list and the camera's information will be filled in on the right. Click the video preview tab then press connect (the camera image will show up). Now click the General Tab and then the Open button. This will open up a page in your web browser. Now you need to give the camera your wifi information for it to connect. Click the settings button in the web browser (its the button with two wrenches crossed). Now click on Wireless LAN settings. Click scan to look for local wifi networks. Look for your wifi and select. Enter your Share Key (i.e. wifi password). Make sure you pick the correct Authentication or it wont connect (if you don't know you may need to try each one until you get it right). Finally click submit. Now the camera knows your wifi and password and can connect without the ethernet cord.

poor quality image and poor documentation
Installation and viewing on phone was straight forward. It is plug and play with the phone app. However, configuring on a desktop took some guess due to poor documentation/manual. It worked eventually, for viewing on a computer. However, I am still trying to figure out how the "alert" trigger works. Again, the user manual isn't very helpful in explaining how things work. I doubt if this particular model actually does "motion alert". The user manual is one-size-fits-all for all models. I am also frustrated with the colors from the live feed. They are so "washed". Green trees look gray in the image. Also not sure if night-vision works. When it is dark outside at night, the image is also dark. I tried with the "night-vision" button from the phone app and the toggle in desktop viewing software but it does nothing. So disappointed with the camera. By the way, I hooked it up with an Ethernet cable full time as my WiFi is not stable.

Great for the price
This isn't my first rodeo. I bought a very similar product straight from the China vendor. It was very mixed just distance and shipping costs.Buying it through Amazon makes all the difference.Software is a bit hinky, but with a little patience, it's great. You don't have to be a programmer, but it helps... but if you aren't the family techno nerd... pass, if you are, you'll love itIt only lasted about 6 months. Would hsve bought more... had it lasted

I dont fully reccomend this product.
The camera was kinda tough to setup. The directions were in broken english and I had to rely on my own networking knowledge to get the device to function. Once I got it to run, i found out that the firmware would not allow me to specify an ip address and port for the camera. I received an error message saying my parameters were incorrect; I checked them 4 times and I'm forsure all numbers are right. With that, I had to keep the assigned up address and hope that I never had to restart my router. Then, 3 days later the camera dropped off the network. I've been trying to get it to reconnect for the past 5 hours and having no success. I'm going to return this devise for a different brand in hopes it works better.Good luck to you if you decide to buy this.

Great for the price
For the price you cannot beat this camera. I have 3 of them installed for almost 2 years now outside in the Colorado weather and they stay connected 100% of the time and the night vision is pretty good. This is NOT a 1080p camera so do not expect great picture quality. But I can see car colors makes and models as well as peoples faces and clothing when they come near my property. I would highly recommend this camera for the price.

Image was good, need improvement
I have installed IP cameras from vaiours make. This one was very difficult to install due to poor instructions and buggy software. Default password was not written (it was blank). I was once succesful in viewing with wired and send email at mortion activated alert. After I tried to connect via wireless and changed IP setting, I could not change settings from "finder software", lost the web access to the camera. Tried factory reset, gained back web access, but email did not work this time. I tried several more, but decided to return it. By the way, the image was beautiful when it worked.
