Tara’s sea salt caramels are delicious with an excellent texture. These caramels are sweet, of course, and have noticeable sea salt crystals in every bite. For me, these are the perfect balance of sweet and salt. These are sweet so a serving of 3 is satisfying and 130 calories isn’t a huge diet blow. These are slightly chewy, but are softer, smoother and creamier than most caramels I’ve tried. These remind me a bit of the texture of See’s scotch kisses, though denser as there’s no marshmallow. These don’t get stuck in my teeth or aggravate my TMJ disorder.Tara’s caramels taste so good and fresh like they’re homemade, so I bought a number of the smaller 11.5 oz containers to combine with gift cards for friends and coworkers at the holidays. There’s a lot of great candy and food floating around this time of year, but these are special and I think others will enjoy them as much as I do. The small size container is nice as it doesn’t take much space to leave out on a night stand or table for visitors or savoring a few while reading or watching tv. I haven’t counted, but each container has 9 servings of 3 pieces, so my estimate is about 27 caramels.Each caramel is individually wrapped and also in a screw top plastic container, so they stay fresh and soft and don’t have to be eaten right away. These are candy so they aren’t health food, but they don’t have artificial flavors, dyes or chemicals. These are made of corn syrup, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, invert sugar, butter, brown sugar, sugar, natural flavor, sea salt and soy lecithin. These are gluten free but have milk and soy. Tara’s caramels are high quality and so delicious. Love this candy. 5 stars.

Arrived 9/25/20 fresh and undamaged with best by date 05/10/21. Open the lid, tear off the safety seal and poured out 28 individually wrapped candies. Each piece is wrapped in wax paper, and comes right out without sticking to paper. These are are extremely soft, and you don't even need to chew them. You can just move them around your mouth with your tongue as they delectably just seem to melt away. They don't stick to your teeth or the roof of your mouth.

If you like chewy caramels, these are not for you. If you like a softer caramel, these are perfect. I tend to prefer chewy caramels, but these taste so wonderful I don't mind at all. Unlike other sea salt caramels that I often find are too heavy on the salt, these have a perfect balance. I will order again.

These caramels are deliciously simple. They have wonderful flavor and the touch of sea salt added to each caramel adds that little bit of extra delight. The quality ingredients are evident in the flavor and texture. These are not like the hard to chew version of caramels that you find in the grocery store. These almost melt in your mouth with just the right touch of creamy saltiness. They are pricey in comparison with those others, so for me they are an occasional treat but well worth it.

I got the sea salt and it's the perfect balance of sweet and salty. I even get a tiny little crunch of salt in every bite. Maybe I notice it more because I don't eat much heavily salted foods, but I thought it was just right. I don't think I'll ever be able to eat other caramels again. It's soft, but not too sticky and the caramel flavor is very good. I have a lot of food allergies, so chocolate and fruit and nut flavors are pretty much a no go for me, so to find great caramel in assorted flavors is very nice!

Delicious, addictive and expensive. Each one is large, soft, sweet, creamy and a tiny bit salty. They don't stick to teeth at all. They're so good that I'm afraid to order more, for fear that I'll eat them all in one sitting.

This is so delicious, it's hard to avoid for a sweet lover. I have to try to control my sweet tooth. These would be great to have for special occasions when your expecting guests, family members, fellow workers, etc.. Rich with flavor, soft, creamy texture, make your guests feel important, that they are receiving such a special treat.

I'm a sucker for seasalt caramel, and caramel in general, it's one of my all time favourite sweets to eat, so I'm a bit disappointed in these. They're not bad but I can barely eat one without it being way too salty.I think the size is too big per as well, but that might be a preference.The container is a lot smaller than you'd think it would be from the picture, but I definitely wouldn't pay another $10 for this size unless it was a gift for someone.Honestly take your $10 and buy from a local vendor or something for something like this if you can, support a local business and likely get more candy out of it that way.I've had this for several days and I can barely eat more than one without feeling like I gotta down a drink to counter the salt. I'm not that desperate for a heart attack to keep eating these.I will say the softness is great though, at least.
