Excellent quality curing blankets...
Kaps Tex Kt-it1224 Concrete Curing Blanket, Orange, 12' X 24'The American Portland Cement Association advises against laying concrete IF the temperature will fall below 50 degrees Fahrenheit (especially) during the first week but technically during the 28 day curing period. Concrete cured during warm weather results in stronger concrete. In Maryland for example, that means you should avoid doing concrete work before May or after September – if you’re after the best bond.Other tips for better results:- If doing concrete work during very hot /dry weather, it will set up (harden) much faster – so have enough experienced help available to keep ahead of it. Years ago, a guy I knew decided to save money and pour a deck around his new swimming pool on his own. He had two guys to help him. By the time they wheel-barrowed the last of it in place, most of the deck had firmed-up, resulting in a total job failure. He had to pay thousands to jack-hammer it up and re-do the entire deck.- Spray or brush a concrete cure / seal liquid (available from Lowes or HD) on the surface just BEFORE the surface starts to dry, to retard evaporation. A concrete seal application is particularly important during hot weather, where heat and low humidity will suck the water out of curing concrete prematurely.- Sealed concrete can be a tad slippery when wet or icy - and when it rains it tends to allow rain to seep in causing a blotched appearance – this is normal. Sealer will wear off in a year or two.- Outside concrete cured during cold weather, especially if it freezes, will be lower strength and could result in multiple surface pops for years afterward. Do not let a contractor talk you into a cold weather pour against your better judgement -- he won't have to live with it. Wait until the next warm period if at all possible.- Consider specifying 6.5 bag mix (cement per cubic yard), as this is stronger than the standard 5.5 or 6 bag mix and not that much more costly.- Have the concrete supplier add “fiber” (usually tiny strands of nylon) to the mix – for additional strength – it’s not expensive, and it strengthens the concrete.- Thicker slabs are stronger than thinner slabs – e.g., 5.5" for a driveway rather than 3.5".- Consider adding suspended re-bars or heavy wire mesh to reduce or prevent future cracking.- If you run out of concrete on a job, cleanly end that section with an expansion joint or at least using 2x lumber. The next pour should start after where this one left off and NOT feathered into an incomplete, earlier pour.- Thoroughly tamp the base ahead of time.- Lay a sheet of plastic on the base just before pouring (or at least sprinkle it with a hose), as a dry base will suck the water out of the curing concrete.- “groove” large outdoor slabs via using hand concrete groovers before it sets up or by cutting 3/4" + deep grooves the morning after the pour, using a concrete saw. So grooved, if it does crack, a slab will likely do so in the groove, where it won’t be so obvious.- IF there is no other choice but to lay concrete when it's colder than you'd like, spray concrete cure on the broomed surface as described above and within a couple of hours of that (when the surface starts to harden), cover the job with these excellent curing blankets for at least 3 - 7 days and up to 28 days. Weight the edges of the blanket for wind protection. Keeping a newly poured slabe even a couple of degrees warmer (particularly if it’s near freezing) can avoid problems later on.- for small concrete sections poured during cold weather, consider covering with an electrically heated concrete (or sleeping) blanket for three days.Good luck.

Seller sucks product is good
I ordered 2 of these tarps I only received one. I have submitted an issue with my order with Amazon to the seller and I have not received any contact back. The product works great and it does what it is supposed to do. I give the product itself a five star but the seller would have a negative 5 stars!
