I have a couple of other VonShef appliances and have found them to be effective, reliable and good value. Hence selecting this hand mixer.This is a great little whisk, very efficient. Does a great job and saves heaving my big stand mixer out of the cupboard! 3 types of beaters, easy to chance and offering a good range of uses. All dishwasher safe, and the body of the mixer wipes clean easily.My only tiny complaint is I find the design of the switch a little awkward and stiff, it's not easy to change speed whilst holding the handle, but that's probably more about my thumb than the switch! Maybe will get easier with more use.Overall I'm very happy with the mixer.

This is a fantastic hand mixer, I've been pleasantly surprised! It's really powerful and takes no time at all to make cake batters. I'm going to buy another one to use in my workplace!

Love this compact hand mixer. Bought to replace one we had for 4 years (managed to shred one of the gears when mixing some particularly stiff and sticky dough).The mixer works really well and is quite powerful. Clearly there is a challenge with wear and tear, but it was in use several times a week for those 4 years of service. We were happy to replace like-for-like.Only shame was it wasn't available in red still.

Brilliant mixer. The faster speed has made such a difference to the quality of my cakes. I just love it. Easy to use, easy to clean. Well worth the money.

I bought this to replace my mums hand whisk. Having visited home and offering to make a cake, I promptly broke the old hand whisk! I immediately went online and ordered this, it was delivered the next day and mum was very happy! It's a nice design, the speed settings are good, it feels sturdy and should last a while, even against my poor baking skills!

Absolutely amazing does everything really well it is a excellent electric mixers

3 months old and the whisk attachment has snapped. Very good machine aside from this so I am hoping a replacement can be sent to replace the broken whisk. Would highly recommend but a clear shame its component has failed after just 3 months.1 month later I am still awaiting my refund. Do not buy from this company, they have breached multiple trandard standard terms and conditions and are being referred on numerous counts.

As noted by other reviewers, the difference in speed between slow and fast is not that great, and the slowest speed is way too fast.Finally had enough of batters and sponge mixes flying everywhere when it's on the slowest speed, so replacing it.
