I hunted and hunted for a nice nativity set. I got the one with 7" figures. It's big, but well made. Up real close the painting isn't perfect, but back a foot or two and you don't notice at all. I love that baby Jesus comes out of the manger and Mary can hold him. I like having the frankincense, myrrh and 24 kt gold (which is enclosed in a liquid inside a chest). It also comes with information about these three gifts which is very interesting. I will really enjoy this set!

I have never seen a more beautiful Nativity Set such as this. This was more than I expected. These pieces are very sturdy, very realistic looking. The faces are painted with much detail, and care was taken to make their gowns with real looking folds, also their hands, feet, and the sandals they are wearing. The extra bonus was the frankincense, myrrh, and real gold to display in the Three Kings containers. The box they came in was very well packed, and there were no chips or breaks in any of the pieces. This set will be handed down in my family from generation to generation.

It is lovely. Beautifully made. Detail amazing. I added the kneeling camel and two sheep to make complete. The set had three kings and two camels. Where is the third camel? I would highly recommend this set as a gift or for personal use. I have placed mine on my Hearth atop a fuzzy brownish runner. I don't use the fireplace, it looks great. Up close the scale is large 7", height of pen. The smaller 5" would be nice for smaller spaces. I ordered the 7" by mistake, but I am happy with it. I thought the 5" would be better for price point and number of pieces. I kept the larger scale. Absolutely love it. The building is quite heavy and the light is AAA battery. I would highly recommend this set if you don't mind the price point. This is my very first Nativity and I am 65. Next year I may go for the 23 piece 5" for another location in the house. Excellent quality!

The media could not be loaded. It is beautiful! Real Frankincense, Myrrh, the David’s Star is Gold beautifully made. Well thought out as far as stability and details according to history. These are 10”. Sets just right under my tree. Absolutely worth the money for it to be part of passing down to your family. It authenticates for Frankincense, Myrrh and the David’s Star.

We are very happy with this set. Everything was very well packaged and arrived unbroken. The figures are well detailed and painted and the animals are also made well. They were the most accurate set I could find, and while the figures stray into the too-pale zone, at least Mary isn't blonde! The skin tone is a little too pale to be accurate, but isn't too awful. The gold, frankincense and myrrh are interesting and come with an informative pamphlet, with plenty of extra to refill the containers for years (well, not extra gold, but that shouldn't need refilled). My biggest gripe is that the stable light is powered by button batteries, and that is a major bummer, as is that they ran out after only 2 days. I would like to leave the stable lit all the time, but can't with the battery power. The light is very nice, small but enough to give a nice yellow glow, but should have at least an a/c adapter option. The second gripe is that the camels are way too small, the standing one being shorter than the king's shoulder. Camels are very large, tall animals. I ordered the animals for the next size up set separately, and replaced the ones that came with this set, and now it is much more realistic. The only piece of the whole set that we didn't like was the star, which looked a lot like the local kindergarten made it as part of glue-and-glitter practice. It was chunky and primary in style and not at all in keeping with the look of the rest of the set, as well as being on a base that only raised it to about the height of the standing king. I have given the star and the too-small animals to our 6-year-old for toys. The last gripe is that the angel has no place to stand up high. The angel appeared "on high" to the shepherds, and is generally pictured as floating, as is the star, but neither is possible with this set. We plan to build a little stand that we can place behind the stable to hold the angel. Overall, I am very happy with this classic, traditional and almost-culturally sensitive set, and hope it becomes an heirloom I can pass along someday.

In the interest of full transparency, let me say right off that I had to return this item. However, it just about broke my heart to do so. Every piece of the Nativity Scene was truly a work of art. The detail was amazing. Absolutely gorgeous. Even the stable was amazing. It just about killed me to have to return it, but I didn't realize how big it was and how many pieces it included, when I ordered it. If a person has a table that it can be displayed on, this is the perfect purchase. Incredible quality for the money. I just wish I could get the same exact thing in a smaller size, even for the same price.

The product was just beautiful . And the detailing was wow ! This set is the best I’ve seen ! We love it.
