I love these lamps. We bought two for the side tables in our bedroom. I love the colors of the stained glass. Just an absolutely Amazing buy. There are little details that make you appreciate the lamp the more you look at it.

I've made many stained glass items over the years ranging from sun catchers to lamps to window panels. As time passed I gradually gave up this hobby. I wanted a gift for a friend and found this lamp. I read great reviews and purchased it.Even though the lamp was packed very well, the first one arrived with a broken piece of glass. It also had a very uneven solder joint on the top front piece that was unsightly to me, as well as a piece of glass that appeared to me to never even have been copper-foiled or soldered.I returned that lamp and the seller replaced it with another that arrived in good condition.In my opinion, the shade is of a simplistic but very beautiful design, the base is wonderfully heavy and stable. The outlet in the base is a definite plus.I wish that there had been more care taken in the assembly of the shade itself: Excellent application of the copper foil to the glass, as well as the application of a sturdy solid bead of solder (not just using a bare minimum of solder to assemble the shade) would have made a more stable lampshade as well as increasing the eye-appeal of the overall product. IMPORTANT: The proper copper-foiling and soldering procedures increase the strength of structure.Yes, I know that this product is made in China (what isn't?) and what can I expect. Still, I think that a decent product could have been made exceptional by spending a little more time and care along with a couple of additional dollars worth of solder.I would buy again. Overall it is an acceptable lamp, but not of stellar quality. BTW use an LED bulb as they generate a lot less heat than an incandescent bulb. Heat weakens the adhesive on the copper foil that is applied to the edge of the glass before soldering, and that weakens the overall structure of the lampshade.

This lamp exceeded my expectations! If you have warm traditional decor, this is a perfect task lamp! The shade swivels to help direct the light and the discreet outlet in front is a feature I appreciate more than anticipated. I purchased a vintage LED bulb for the warm glow and ambiance but alas my eyes needed a brighter task bulb for reading and writing. Swapped the bulb out for a Phillips “reveal” 40 watt and no more eye strain! Thankfully the warmth of the shade colors help to balance the whiteness of the bulb. :)

The lamp exceeded our expectations. The construction is solid and look forward to using this in my study for years to come….

This is by far one of the nicest desk lamps around. Excellent efficiency, excellent designing, and, as an extra feature, an electric outlet in the base just right for charging a phone or tablet. Plus it fits right into my wife's art nouveau theme around the house. Maybe not for everybody, but if you like class, this is the one.
