Unsafe to use. DO NOT BUY OR OPERATE!
I have used many hole saws in the past and run a balance and centricity check before using one.As it turns out, this hole saw is extremely out of balance and off-centre, rendering it unsafe and unfit for purpose. It wobbles around an otherwise perfectly aligned centre drill bit, causing massive vibrations even without any load. Attempting to use this particular hole saw will destroy the part you are working on (because it's misaligned), and will likely cause the centre drill bit or the drive of your drill to fail. You also risk serious injury when rotating machinery comes apart.I would recommend removing this product from the market with immediate effect.

A quality cutter .
Item was delivered promptly. It is not supplied with an arbour but luckily I had one included in a parkside (Lidl) set I had purchased on a previous occasion. Consequently I assume it is of a fairly standard fitting. I needed to cut six 90 mm holes in some 1x" thick softwood . Mounted in my budget and rather ancient pillar drill it made short and accurate work of my project . The cutter was sharp and accurate and seemed to suffer no degredation from the 6 cuts . It gave the impression of a quality and durable item . When using a hole saw of this diameter it's advisable to clamp your work firmly.

Hole In One
I needed to 7 holes for downlighters that I was fittinf to my friends summerhouse.I had lined it with 18mm T&G flooring board,so the cutter had its work cut out for it. Six of the seven holes were a breeze, however the saw seemed to getting blunt and the seventh hole was a real trial. I know these saws are usually used on plasterboard which would make the saw much longer lasting.

Sturdy and sharp
Fitted my Starrock cutter mandrel perfectly. Used for cutting plaster board to mount LED ceiling lighting. Cut 20 holes in just a few minutes and still as good as new. Great price and next day delivery.

Neat cut / well ballanced
I was only cutting wet wall so wasn’t expecting any problems. The important issue for me was a neat cut and well balanced which it was . Good quality at a good price

Cheap as chips.Feels as good as all but the highest end cutters.Used to fit down lights in kitchen cupboards.Bit straight in and cut cleanly.Very happy with product, will gladly buy other sizes in ranges. You do need an arbor to use this.
