Exact Replacement for existing Alarms on RV
The alarms on our RV kept beeping despite battery replacement. In my experience over the years, these types of alarms in house, RV etc. don’t last forever. Given their low cost, this is not a problem - they are a replace periodically product.What I love about this alarm is that it is the exact same one that was installed by the manufacturer of the RV. This meant the ones I ordered from Amazon fit perfectly in the existing locations and changing them out was quick and simple (two screws in holes already drilled). With batteries installed, the new ones are working as expected.

Exactly what we needed for our RV
This alarm was exactly what we needed. We needed a replacement after 7 years in our RV and this was the perfect replacement. It was easy to install and was shipped quickly. These alarms are designed to stop working after about 7 years and ours started beeping. It looks great and should last at least another 7 years. Well worth the money. We were so pleased that Amazon carries such a wide variety of items. Checked Amazon, ordered, delivery, and installed! Amazon is always our go to for shopping!

Just like the old one
This smoke detector is the same as the old one. Didn't need to move the mounting screws at all. Also comes with a battery.

Great replacement, easy to install
There isn't much to installing this, with an adapter provided, if needed. For me it was just plug it into the socket on the ceiling and we were back in business.
