Complete NIV Audio Bible, Volume 2: Prophets, Gospels, Acts and Letters

I am dyslexic, so do not read much . This is a brilliant way to study the bible. Listened to the first 5 chapters in one go . If I had to read it myself I wouldn't have got through the first 5 verses without ditching it. He reads it so well, and at a speed that you can take it all in . Even the tone of his voice is somewhat calming . Would strongly recommend.

I'm struggling with this. I want to like it, but the lack of chapter names makes it almost impossible to find a particular bible book or chapter.I wanted to listen to the book of Isaiah today, but all I can see is a list from chapter 1 to chapter 679. Where is Isaiah? Book names and bible chapters would be so much easier.

I've listened to other bible apps, and perhaps it's me but I find most of the American ones get a bit boring after a while and I really don't like it when they try and act out the different characters and play background music. This is nothing but the scripture as read by David Suchet. His voice is like liquid gold, and is an absolute pleasure to liisten to. He could probably read the meter and make it sound interesting.

Seriously, the problem with this production is that you can't search for Bible chapters. It's almost useless as a study resource.

I bought the whole series to go over the old testament. The narrator does an excellent job of emphasising without dramatic tendencies. It's great to have on in the house or car.

Love this guys voice but I can’t choose which chapter as it just lists it as chapter 1,2,3 etc…. Not the actual books. I’m not that up to speed on the bible so would not know the order therefore need to be able to see which is which. Also only the new test.
