Coralife T5 Replacement Lamp Actinic

I use Coralife Aqualife saltwater dual T-5 fixtures with an actinic 03 and a 10000K bulb for 50 - 90 gallon coldwater aquariums to display a variety of Alaskan invertebrates and fish. I like these fixtures and bulbs for their slim profile, energy efficient bulbs (28 w for 4' bulbs), and inexpensive costs both for the fixtures and the replacement bulbs. They light the tanks uniformly and the bulbs are quite long-lasting - up to several years or longer. I think that it's a good bulb that's economical and does the job fine. One downside was that the Amazon Prime shipper, Lakeview, shipped each bulb by USPS priority mail separately without adequate packing or "fragile" labels on the boxes, so many of the bulbs were broken on receipt. I tried a second time, and a few more were broken. I ended up getting the remainder of my intended order from That Pet Place.

Stopped working after about 2 weeks.The quality of these lights and the packing is suspect. I've ordered 4 lights, one was dead on arrival, one stopped after 2 weeks and a third was crushed in shipping.

I ordered the wrong size and started the return. Realized without even removing it from the box that it didn't matter because it arrived shattered anyway

This is a good color for a Marine Aquarium but...... Order 2 because both of my shipment arrived broken. Maybe you will get lucky but if you need the bulb, take the risk and save the second if they both make it thru shipping.

Literally destroyed packaging and the bulb was dust.. $12 isn’t worth me driving across town so basically just taking the L very unfortunate. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I decided to supplement my daylight lamps in a freshwater tank with this lamp, and it really brought out some of the hidden colors as well.

Grows coral very nicely
