VTech VM3261-2 2.8” Digital Video Baby Monitor with 2 Pan & Tilt Cameras, Full Color and Automatic Night Vision, White

This monitor is very clear and picks up all the sounds. I don't like that the volume cannot be shut off and that you can't add additional cameras. I have 3 kids four and under, I could use another. Before this monitor I had a one with 3 cameras attached, but the port where the parent unit charged was bent and wouldn't hold the plug in or charge it anymore.Once you unplug the parent unit, the battery life is not as long as I'd like, my guess is about 5/6 hours. I've had two other monitors before this that lasted much longer than this one does.But it does switch pictures between the two cameras every 10 seconds, which is nice. I have each camera in a different room. And the best part for me is that the plug is a circular connect to the parent unit. I'm hoping I'll never have problems with the charge again. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

The picture quality is good, and the battery life seems to be just fine. I originally had an issue with the sound being too fuzzy so I couldn't understand my daughter, but the seller sent me a replacement, and it is perfect! Updating my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. Very happy with this baby monitor!!

We had the previous model of this camera for 3 years. The parent unit stopped holding a charge and needed to plugged in all the time. Then stopped working completely.This newer model is very similar but moves to view all over the room. Battery is great. However the video screen is way more grainy and difficult to make out faces etc. Our kids are older so it is mainly just for piece of mind. But if I were a brand new mom and had a ne born... no way would I use this system.

We have been very impressed with this monitor you can talk both ways on it, move it everywhere and picture and sound is great! Also our other one wouldn’t pick up all over the house but this one does great haven’t had an area yet it didn’t pick up!

It’s your basic baby monitor picture, sound, night vision, mount, corded, cordless parent unit, rotation, talk, no WiFi...the multi cam swap feature works fine.Sound only one at a time because you can only view one at a time. Since their cries are similar this is helpful. Few seconds and it goes back to the other little one. Or just keep it on one easy enough. Easy to use.The only thing is the battery is defective and overheats easily, refusing to charge at times. If you keep it out of a light source and charge it, then it will hold the charge just fine.

Best child monitor we’ve ever owned. Picture is great, sound quality is great, tells us the current temperature at the crib, really like being able to move the camera around and zoom in on the kid while sitting on the couch downstairs. Great buy. Thanks!

We have 2 sets of these, so review is not because of just a fluke defective one. It appears to be true of the product as a whole.Thoughts:1) Be aware that you have to charge this for 12 hours at a time. Then you get about an hour’s worth of view time before needing to charge again.2) You can’t charge it and use it at the same time. It doesn’t work right, and it takes even longer to charge it when it’s on.3) Sometimes the camera will start turning without warning and not stop until it completes the 180 degree turn.4) Night vision is very dim and hard to see.5) Camera can “unpair” itself and not work all of a sudden.6) Audio from Parent unit to Monitor unit doesn’t always work.When this things works, it’s ok. But it’s so frustrating in those times when it refuses to do what it’s supposed to. I’m interested to hear if anyone has found something more reliable. There are times when I’m ready to throw this one in the trash.Would not recommend, if you can find something better.

Awful product, should definitely spend another dime and get a better model.I’m a past customer of Vtech, thought that this is a good model like the previous one, ended up with a monitor that:- camera stuck and stops moving until rebooted- battery indicator always display lowest level- no wide camera- less than 70 meters reception- cannot mute- alert tones not loud enoughOverall doesn’t justify the brand, either get a more expensive model or take a low end non familiar brand.Pros - it turns on and works when close enough to the unit. With the above issues.

Excellent product. Highly recommended. Night vision is very clear, tells you temperature in room, easily moveable from the handheld watching device, had an issue and called the company and had it fixed within minutes, also 1 year manufacturer warranty is a bonus!

Excelente monitor. Es el segundo que compro (el primero se descompuso por múltiples caídas). Excelente definición, calidad de sonido y el monitor tiene batería durable. Lo único que lo mejoraría, sería que tuvieran mejor alcance, pero todos tienen el mismo rango.

Good simple baby monitor. Important aspects for me are control from parent monitor, temperature settings, and sound quality. All good. We bought this as we didn’t want WIFI, we use for camping.

Live feed is fuzzy, and has a talk delay when talking, some of the time it is not clear
