Good Fit
Works great for my new 2017 Predator PDL. There is a YouTube video I would recommend for installing , but it is fairly easy an takes about 10 minutes. Nice fit, sealed into scupper nicely, tightens well and a cap snaps over the exposed part inside the kayak to give it a professional look. One thing I would like to add, the first word in the description says: LOWRANCE, which means that is what it fits. Also, one reviewer stated he had to drill two holes. On my kayak ZERO holes had to be drilled, no bracket hung down to shear off and it fit flush enough I did and do not have to worry about any possible damage. I would recommend before you install this on ANY kayak that you check how your transducer fits in your particular scupper area without the bracket, then you have an idea if this is going to work. It pulls it snug, but you have to have the space for the transducer first, this mount doesn't build a suitable space for you. It's a common sense thing. Check what you have and know what you are getting. Good Luck!

The perfect solution for a kayak install!
I purchased this mount for my Garmin Stryker 4 install on my kayak. This mounting kit is simple, works and makes a nice neat and clean install for most fish finders with a scupper hole mount. The entire install took me about 15 minutes and since then, it's taken some beating on rocks and trees and shallow water in rivers and small streams. Still working perfectly.

Good product
I really like this product. The only issue I ad with it is where the transducer meets the scupper hole on the bottom of the kayak. Depending on which kayak you have the scupper holes may be shaped differently and therefore the transducer may have a little play in it so be careful when setting it up.

Great, simple product and can mod to work for garmin striker 4
I ordered this for my Ozark trails pro angler 12 kayak. I paired this with a garmin striker 4 fishfinder and after doing lots of research found out its not supposed to work with the garmin! I was adomate I didnt want the transducer arm style hanging off the side to deal with but was pleasantly surprised when I realized with about 2 minutes and a dremel tool it accepted the Garmin transducer like it was built for it! So far it has held up very well for my use bass, walleye and catfishing in several river systems without issue. The system is very easy to install and only takes a couple minutes to complete.

Try a swing arm instead
This item did not work on my Ascend FST128 sit on top kayak. The scupper holes are coned shape and this item is not made for a coned shape scupper hole. I desperately needed it to work so I tried everything I could. Once I got it into place, it would spin in place. Then I had issues with putting my kayak on a trailer as the transduce would scrape the rack. After making sure I had tried everything I knew to do to make it work, I trashed it and I went with a swing arm for just a few bucks more. It was an expensive lesson in buying junk.

Great product! Once installed works awesomely
Great product! Once installed works awesomely! Although it will take a little more time to install than one might think upon first glance. To get the transducer to tuck up as tight as possible to the hull of the boat. There will be some trimming to the product that will need to be done. Other than that. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great idea, but! be aware this works for only a split shot transducer, not a tripleshot
The Lowrence site make no mention that this product works only for a SplitShot transducer. Fortunate as an engineer with the right tools I was able to modify this to work, it took some out of the box thinking. I used this along with the BerleyPro Hobie Lowrance Triple Shot Transducer Mount for the installation I wanted. ( I have also copied for your information if this helps, my review of this mount) The bottom mount for one was too narrow and shallow for the TripleShot as the connection gear is larger on the TripleShot. Let me say if your using a Splitshot this product is Perfect! and easy to install. I was fortunate to have a hull shape on my Kayak that allowed my install to work with some cutting and engineering. Not the biggest of deal breakers, but really required me to think this through. The Pictures show what I am conveying. The BerlyPro mount is needed for a bottom hull install as the TripleShot would be exposed to potential damage from shallow water of getting the Yak out of the water and the weight of the TripleShot would not be adequately supported from this Lowrence Scupper Mount. My biggest complaint was the Tech-Staff at Lowrence was completely unaware of this in the least bit what-so-ever. They were dumb-founded.(From review on the Mount):I was fully aware that this BerleyPro Hobie Lowrance Triple Shot Transducer Mount was for a Hobie Yak. However, the triple shot is much longer than a split shot of traditional chirp/down scan only transducers, thus, using arms hanging over the side of your yak from Yak-Attack or Scotty leaves it prone to movement and requires constant adjustment, especially if your fishing through heavy weeks flipping and pitching or shallow water. I used and adapted this to the bottom of the hull for my Pelican Catch 100. Fortunately the bottom is dead flat and I was able to adapt this to sit not only on the bottom but to have the mount utilize one of the scupper holes for a clean install. the two side pontoons of my hull leaving this safe from hitting the bottom. I attached this product using Well/Hull nuts and a combination of 3M 5200 & 4200 Sealant. Works like a charm! If you own a Hobie, your in luck! the Hull is already formed to receive this and all you need to do is screw it in with the factory installed hull/well nuts. Good Luck
