I WAS ABLE TO MORE EASILY USE THE 6" ONES OF THE SAME BRAND.
These 22" long pool cover clips were purchased after the pool was closed, and water may have moved the cover somewhat; so at this point they were extremely difficult to impossible for me to use; luckily I also purchased the 6" ones of the same brand, and they were much easier to handle.

Had to modify
Fall off. Had to use plastic wrap and duct tape after install to keep them on.

Clip to pool very well. Spring will tell if they hold up but they appear to be of good quality.

Great product . Pool cover stayed on all wintet
Pool cover stayed on all this winter with high winds and very bad snow storms.Have told friends about them so they have bought them also .
