I brought this Lego ninjago monastery in 2029. All the children enjoyed playing with this Lego peices, they were concentrating hard and consistently to get the Lego constructed swiftly as possible. It was great fun and very easy to build. I would recommend this product.

Lots of actual 'play' value
I love this Lego set and it's great for actually playing with!If you've ever looked at things like the big Ninjago dragons or some of the Star Wars Lego sets you'll see that a lot of them are a bit boring and you can't do a lot with them. My two sons are obsessed with Lego and I'm fine with that, they enjoy it. But when you're spending over £100 on a big grey spaceship that they'll build, play with a couple of times, and then stick on a shelf, it does get a little frustrating. This Ninjago set isn't like that. It's around £80 most of the time, give or take various sales, and you get a lot for your money. The set has lots of little bits to play with and has a lot of intricate moving parts that will keep any young Lego fan entertained for hours on end.

Quality Lego kit providing lots of fun for my kids.
Usual LEGO quality (i.e. you get what you pay for)Instructions are clear & easy to follow. Our youngest son has not stopped playing with this since he got it and its so nice to see kids using their imagination while playing (and helping to build as well) instead of watching TV or playing a console game. The Monastery is physically smaller than i expected and for the price could have been slightly larger. But that is the only negative comment i have. The spinning ninjas are a GREAT idea and to my surprise work flawlessly and very smoothly.Overall, i highly recommend this items for 6 year old+ as long as you have the patience to build alongside your child and don't mind 8 seperate bags of lego pieces to contend with.

Wonderful set for Ninjago fans
My 8 year old daughter is a big Ninjago fan and this set made the ideal Christmas present. It’s a large set that includes all the main ninja characters and some villains too. It’s good value because you don’t have to buy individual characters separately. The pieces are well packed in separate bags with a fantastic instruction book that is incredibly easy to follow. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily the various sections fit together and was able to build it in very little time. One surprising feature is the spinning function which allows the Lego fan to recreate a Spinjitzu battle with a simple mechanism. Overall I would recommend this set to any Ninjago fan as it is a quality set that you expect from Lego.

Great for martial arts enthusiasts
This set went down incredibly well with my martial arts and Lego loving 6 year old. Despite the fact that she hasn't seen any of the TV shows she absolutely loves the set.It took her a good few hours to build (with a little help at times) and it has been extensively played with since completion. She has created many battle scenes and combined it with her other sets to play elaborate games.I will be buying more Ninjago sets to add to this one as I feel it has great play value and longevity.

This is great but very hard to assemble even for an adult looks great when it is complete also there was a few pieces missing which became annoying

Many ingenious traps, and fun working parts for all the family
It arrived on time, well packaged and although it was for my 6 year old, all the family have loved helping him to build and play with it over the christmas period. There are some well engineered traps and it's really good value. I didn't realise it was season 1. But I am not sure which season is best to buy for. Depends what type of Lord Garmadon your Ninjago fan likes?

Huge set
I had to help my son build this as there was so much! It was a lot bigger than I expected it to be. You build each piece in sections and then connect them to each other - I loved all the little secrets and moving parts. I am not looking forward to this getting broken up and being asked to rebuild it, however! Well worth the money.
