Epson ES-300WR Wireless Color Portable Duplex Document Scanner Accounting Edition for PC and Mac, Auto Document Feeder (ADF)

I have thought about buying a scanner for years (I'm a CPA), but I always got by using my Epson printer, which has scan ability, instead. Recently, my work required that I scan over 100 documents, some single-sided, some double-sided and I truly dreaded the thought of doing it. So I ordered this Epson scanner. I didn't buy the entry-level model, hoping that the higher priced model that I bought would be solid and do the job. When it arrived, I was immediately super-pleased to find how easy it was to start using it. I was even more impressed that it scans in duplex (scans both sides of the page) automatically. The scans are super fast (a couple of seconds each) and the clarity is superb. This may be the best product I have ever purchased from Amazon, and that is saying a lot.

I love this and use in my mobile office as a mobile notary. It is very compact and fast. This works better than my desk top scanner. Every time I pull out and use it at one of my appointments, the clients are blown away how compact and quick it scans. Sometimes before the appointments end my clients has ordered one. I highly recommend and get the carrying cash with it.

I love the size of this scanner. This is the main reason I purchased this scanner, the size. It takes very good scans. I have flat bed scanners and this takes just as good images. The ES-300 comes with very easy to use basic software. Yet, I purchased the WR version as it came with the $100 accounting software. But I am having difficulties understanding how to get the information into Quicken, even though Quicken is one of the supported options. I wish epson would make a video on how to use this software. The ScanSmart software does locate the name of the store, the date of purchase and the amount spent. It looks great. Now if I could just get it to go into Quicken. I will need to contact epson support. But so far my contact with epson has not been great.I have been very happy with Aidan and Little Prince for their attentiveness and willingness to pursue information that epson.com gave me about my purchase. This company has made me feel that the time i will need to fully understand my purchase's ability will be worth it. They care that I am happy with my purchase.

Everything about this Epson product (and I own several other) is wrong:1. Pairing continues to fail even when USB connection is good2. 3rd party app Navi fails to complete test scan and shows USB and wifi and still continually tries to connect/pair with wifi.3. Instructions must be downloaded or you will never find the mobile app.4. Do you need more?

Overall an excellent product.Software should be improved to character recognise other customised items e.g. for tax general consumption tax (GCT).Can be challenging sometimes for initial wireless connection to a new device.

worth every penny!!!! The scanner is fast, captures both sides, multiple pages, able to rotate individual pages, easy to save. Able to scan papers and business cards. Convenient, I take my scanner to client meetings.Best purchase!

At first this little square seems like it should be helpful. But let me tell you - that is false.We are preparing to relocate so we know our stuff is going into storage. This was the answer scan all my husbands files he might need to reference a searchable pdf -But it has a nasty problem one you have to reverse load all the files so restack everything in reverse order - then take it out stack back in the original order. I could get past that. But it gets stuck - like it forgets what it’s doing locks your computer up and you will have to hard restart.Then for funsies it dumps those scanned pages.I have uninstalled and reinstalled it’s just to temperamental for what I need. If you are scanning an occasional document less then 25 pages your probably good to go.I spent 3 hours hand feeding individual pages into this thing so it would not mess up - it got to page 60 and just stopped locked up and was like go f your self.It is fast, it does great quality images. It’s just not for creating large pdf files.

I have bought the same type of machine from same manufacturer years ago. Love the ease of use and installation.
