Excellent fit
Have an older model laptop and current battery is at end of its’ life. This produce was well priced and fits great. I have charged it and it runs laptop fine. Won’t completely use until the old one totally dies but it’s good to know I already have a suitable backup.

These batteries are hard to find
Getting hard to find batteries for older laptops. This is sad because even being an older laptop, it functions perfectly, and has plenty of usable life remaining. Thankfully these batteries are at least somewhat still available. Purchased this one formy mother-in-laws laptop. Power cycled several times and runtime seems fine. No issues to be found. When she need another battery, I can only hope these are still available.

Will not charge
Brought this battery April 11, 2024 for my laptop. Its August 2024 and the battery will not charge more than 21% which is 20 minutes. Contacted seller who said to condition battery which I did several times with no improvements. Seller refers me to Amazon for warranty because they are ones that shipped it. Amazon site shows 12 months warranty.Update: The model on this battery is UD532,WD415. Nowhere does it show 11.1 volts and HD438. Miss advertised . DO NOT PURCHASE!

Battery works like a battery is supposed to work
Remains to be seen what the lifespan will be.However I am getting 2-3 hours of use on an old pentium m laptop running Linux which is not known to be super battery life friendly, and looks to recognized as a Dell battery as well. So a positive first impression.Shipping is agonizingly slow, from overseas, which is not disclosed in the listing. Would be easier to recommend if it was stocked stateside.

STOP! DO NOT Buy this battery!
Not even two years later, it will NOT CHARGE! This battery is dead. The original Dell battery lasted six or seven years. This replacement battery is a BAD PURCHASE! I bought it November 2018.
