Snapper 2049 21" Push Mower Ninja Blade

This is only the second review I've ever written but I felt compelled to let people know that this is a quality blade. I just used it for the first time and it leaves an extremely level and clean cut. I couldn't see a single blade of grass or leaf left on the lawn after the mower passed over it. I took the bagger off my mower last year but I was using a regular blade, not a mulching blade because I didn't realize I needed one. Until this weekend I would have shredded leaves and grass all over the lawn when I was done mowing. But today I couldn't see anything left behind. Granted, we're starting to experience autumn weather and the grass is barely growing so I can't get the truest gauge of how this will perform during peak growing season but I'm very happy right now. BTW, I put a sharp edge on it because I read several reviews that recommended it. Seems to be the right move.

I have a Snapper 3 in 1 deck. I used to use the Hi-Vac option with bag, but decided to get the mulch cover, as mulching helps keep the grass fertile and fed. The only thing was, I had a regular strait blade, and it was leaving large strips of cut grass everywhere on my lawn, and wasn't designed to mulch the clippings. This mulcher blade by Snapper is just what I needed. It cuts the grass initially, sucks the clippings up and as they fall the secondary blades chop them up to little bits that are small enough to fall between the grass blades onto the ground. Great buy, at by far the cheapest price on Amazon.

I have one of these blades on my mower for years. This blade is the best, mulches my grass where you cannot see the cut grass clippings. It is worth every penny it does a excellent job. And I am anal when it comes to my grass.

I had a Gator blade until it came upon a rock that was too big and too hard. This blade still bogs down the mower if I try to cut the grass that is slightly wet and too tall. The cut it does it not perfect on the first run. I think, a sharpening prior to use might have made it a little better. Overall it's a nice solid blade, just do not expect any miracles from it. I might buy it again if the current one gets ruined or I might get the Gator at half the price. This one is a little nicer, but I am still not sure if it's twice as nice.

I have purchased this from amazon and After i put a sharp edge on it installed I was amazed at how well the clippings were cut up they are tiny compared to the normal blade that came on the sp 105 i got from walmart this summer now the blade adapter isnt the same the one that came with my mower has a star adapter and this blade just has a circle it still fits but could eventually damage the mower from not being seated correctly only time will tell I have only used this blade for about ten minutes so far and it did a great job I am redoing most of my lawn from midnight kentucky bluegrass seed and cant wait till i can finally mow and have a nice thick lawn!

Really good cut But not vacuum good enough.

Bought this blade for a Snapper Ninja mower I bought used. Great blade, especially for mulching. I think I will continue to buy these as long as I can find them and have a mower that will work with them. They do seem to do a better job mulching.
