**Update 04/27/20: Dead DP Connection** As Close to Perfect as it gets for 32" 1440p Monitors
04/27/20: Over the course of a few hours the DP connection went from pristine to busted and no longer works with any device or cable tried. I didn't even unplug any connectors on either end while it died, I just switched to VGA for a little while doing some telework things on a work laptop. When I shut off the laptop the screen simply went black and never found its DP input again. The monitor seems to recognize that something has been plugged in when I disconnect/reconnect the DP plug, as it wakes out of sleep and cycles through inputs looking for a signal. But it just gives up and goes back to sleep after.HDMI works for now and at this resolution/refresh there is manifestly no difference in performance, but a 3-month-old monitor should not be having its ports fry, period. So this monitor now gets 1 star, irrespective of its picture quality (which is still excellent).Pros:-0 dead pixels, 0 screen issues. No noticeable BLB at all.-Solid, functional, low-key stand-Great colors, brightness and pixel clarity after calibration. No screen door effect.-This resolution and size is a great sweet spot. PPI is great, not too large or small, and 32" 16:9 is very immersive without requiring any head-turning to follow things on screen. This is with the screen 2.5ft away.Cons:-Typical IPS glow and mediocre contrast. Not as bad some IPSes I've experienced, though.-Even after Nvidia's driver update allowing their cards to work with FreeSync monitors, this one is STILL incompatible. You are stuck with 60hz unless you have an AMD card, 75hz will skip frames.-Slight overrepresentation of reds, no amount of calibration seems to fix. Not a huge deal though.-Definitely some noticeable smearing in fast-paced dark scenesTo me, the holy grail monitor is a 32" 1440p 144hz IPS flat panel. That monitor doesn't exist (yet) but this one checks four out of five of those boxes. 60hz isn't horrible but it's something to want to move on from sooner or later, as most modern graphics cards can push 100hz+ at 1440p resolution in most games. Panel manufacturers these days seem mostly to be catering either to widescreen 300hz fortnite kiddies with bizarre resolutions, tiny curved screens and garbage TA tech, or else catering to 6k resolution photoshop junkies with monitors as large as widescreen TVs.Supposedly there are a few IPS panels in the 2020 pipeline that meet all the above specs, but until then this monitor is about as good as it gets if you want a beautiful 32" 1440p screen with panel tech that isn't garbage (that is to say, not VA and not TN).

Updated to four stars. Original monitor arrived with defect on right half of screen.
UPDATE: Replacement arrived form Amazon in two days and the defective monitor is on its way back. I truly appreciate Amazon's process of replacing this defective item. I've bumped it from one to four stars since the replacement works flawlessly. I couldn't do five stars since I was a bit concerned with Acer customer support. I use this for work in my home office and it is exactly what I was looking for.Original review: Arrived defective having vertical lines and blurry images on the right half of the screen. The left side looked good and I love the size and resolution of the monitor. Called Acer support and they said it was physical damage and not covered by the three year warranty. Thankfully Amazon allows returning the defective unit and I would give five stars to them; but, not this product or brand. I'm giving this 1 star currently for Acer customer service and warranty. A replacement should arrive in a couple of days and I'll adjust stars on the product if the replacement works. Fingers are crossed.

Great deal on a good sized piece of screen real estate
Running multiple 2560x1440s - others were 27s (one died to a cat using it as a springboard to the window), which are challenging to the eyes after hours in front of them. 32 is just right and much more readable. Color Munki with Display Cal calibrated it easily, seems to be holding calibration well. Profiled to match 27" Benqs and is noticeably brighter and has more contrast at similar menu settings. Slightly cool out of the box (or maybe the Benq is warm) but it is correctable. That said, the blacks could be deeper, but unless viewing the same image on both, it wouldn't be noticeable. Not a hard core twitch gamer, so can't speak to the refresh or response, but there is zero drag ghosting in LR or PS, and the larger area makes editing easier, so a great buy for my purposes. Also MUCH easier to see details in Ableton Suite without scrolling/zooming, so another big pro.Dollar for dollar, I could not expect anything more.

Very good monitor. Poor delivery by USPS.
This monitor is very good. QHD for a 32" monitor is much better than FHD. I use this mainly for work and text so I cannot attest to how well the 75Hz refresh rate helps for gaming. I really like the adjustable stand. I wish more monitors had this. Having the buttons in the back right is a little awkward, but I only adjust it once at setup and rarely touch it again.USPS did a poor job in the delivery. They left it in the driveway so it was partially in front of one garage door. Luckily my car has the backup sensor and started beeping so the monitor was not destroyed. USPS usually puts packages so it is not in front of the garage doors but they messed up this time. Amazon, please forward this to the USPS.It would be nice if Amazon allowed people to review separately the product, the seller, and the delivery service.

Some flaws
Ultimately I returned this. Acer sells this monitor with the v leg stand or adjustable stand. I chose the adjustable stand thinking I would be able to raise/lower to my needs. Unfortunately that is not the case and it would not lower enough to a comfortable height (nor meet ergonomic guidelines). Panel was nice but noticed a few other things in the few days that I did use it - text was not as sharp as the replacement monitor I purchased (same resolution); an extra HDMI port would have been nice vs the VGA port; and my Nvidia based computer did not play nicely with this monitor - the monitor would not come out of sleep so I had to turn it off and on (I tried to adjust settings on my machine and on the monitor to no avail) - that would be a deal breaker alone if my Nvidia machine was used all the time. The deal breaker was the height adjustment combined with the other factors.
