Protective and covers well!
The media could not be loaded. This works perfectly! Easy to install and just the size I needed. Door knob put a good-sized hole in the wall that I needed to cover while protecting against more damage until I’m able to fix the wall more permanently. There are adhesive foam strips around the edge of the plate, just peel the backing and stick it to the wall. Adhesive holds well to the wall, even with force (see video). *Important note*: Apply to smooth/smooth-ish surfaces. I had to sand down the area where I applied it since it has a very textured paint, and the plate wasn’t sitting right or sticking to the wall the first time. Sanded the area where the plate was going and put it back, everything was perfect after that!

Works great
The door in my son's apartment constantly hit the wall when we entered leaving a small dent. This easy to install product solved the problem at minimum cost. The adhesion is strong, the product itself thick, and a great solution at a low cost.

Perfect fix for covering an existing hole in my wall made by the door knob!
The media could not be loaded. So I slammed a bedroom door open a bit too hard and made a hole in the wall with the door knob. I bought the wall repair kit but I've had it two to three years and I've still not repaired the hole and a flooring company was at my house putting down wood floors and suggested I just buy a door knob guard for the wall and stick it to it and hide the hole he said if I repaired it it would just go through it again. So I bought this 5 inch round door knob guard and it goes perfectly over the hole. Yes it looks big, but the adhesive on the back goes in a circle and this adhesive has to go around the hole and stick to the wall so the five inch was the perfect size to cover the hole. See my pictures and video. This was an absolute perfect quick fix to cover and protect the hole in the wall, or to prevent one!

Works just fine.
This is covering an electric box that still has the workings in it, but is high on the wall. I have painted it yellow and it is now serving as the sun above a large picture that appears to have sunshine coming down on it.

Great with modification
Great quality and size. I have textured walls so did not stick well, used super glue and now great. I think on smooth walls would be just fine.
