Antique Vintage Classic Cinema Theater Auditorium Speech Live Vocal 25mm Big Diaphragm Condenser Microphone

This mic served us very well to provide sound reinforcement for a small group or choir. I also tested it as the lead vocalist's mic in an Americana trio of guitar, bass & drums. Altho I advised the vocalist that it would be real hot and to not sing right on it, he would occasionally "eat" the mic and over-drove it. The mic also picked up some bleed over from the bassist's amp on stage. Other than that, it worked like a charm and was an excellent value, and it provides a lot of clean, high-end equalization for good comprehension of lyrics and speaking. Be advised that you'll need to get a mic cable for it, and your board will need to have phantom power. I also really like the visual appeal of this mic.

Honestly, I bought this microphone 90% because of the way it looks. I participated in a theatre production set in the 1930s. We filmed the production for the purpose of streaming. The show included bluegrass music and when it came time to record we used this microphone to accomplish that.The large diaphragm condenser platform made it easy for more than one person to sing and play in proximity at the same time. The microphone preformed very well and the quality of the recording (on our Tascam digital recorded) was really good. Very clear and once dialed in it sounds pretty good for the money.I have since used it for other recording purposes both music and speech with good results.The microphone is well built and has weight to it which gives it a quality feel.If there is a negative here it's the fact that it came in a box with no manual, no specs no paperwork of any kind. For the novice it might have been a bit confusing how to set this up and use it.

I bought this mic because I sing in church on the Praise and worship team and play acoustic guitar as well. I love the retro-style of this condenser mic. I've always loved that retro style. This mic picks up up sound way better than a regular mic. very crisp clear sound. If you get one of these, I'd recommend you also pick up a pop filter as well. This is my second of this particular mic because I was a bit careless with the first one and accidentally dropped it. For $70, it's a great mic.

This microphone functions well, but it does require some expensive hardware and supplies to connect it to a computer or other device. I do recommend it, its a very interesting looking mic.

This is a large diaphragm condenser microphone and it needs phantom power. I use an iRig for my XLR interface and I barely turn the gain up to make this thing work. It can pick up your voice from 5 ft away with clarity, as if you were standing a foot away from it. It’s not overly sensitive with plosives. I’m just blown away with this generic mic. It does not have a brand name. It rivals my expensive RODE and Shure microphones. It’s an excellent buy for $62. I highly recommend it for its performance and classic looks. Go get one!

IMPORTANT- The mic stand bracket was not machined out, so I had to retrofit it using an old coupler.•The quality of audio is what you’d expect from a cheaper condenser mic.•The video appeal is great if you just use it as a prop.
